Chapter 49

Kylie's POV

I woke up with a pounding headache, I looked around and no one was in the room. I managed to stand up so I could use the bathroom and that was when I heard the tap running, I knocked on the bathroom door and no one was answering.

The tap was running, this could only mean Jaylen was inside but nobody responded. What if he fell or something, “Jaylen, open the door, Jaylen are you in there, if I count one to three and you don't open the door, I will break it,” I hit the door from the outside in panic.

“Why are you banging the door?” relief washed over me as I heard Jaylen's voice from behind me.

I turned to face him and he looked pretty okay for someone who was drunk last night. My eyes fell on his hand and he was holding a tray of food. That didn't look like a one-person meal.

“I ..Hmm …thought you were In there,” I smiled at him, “The tap is open.”

“I left it open to prepare a bath for you and I went to get breakfast for us,” I looked at Jaylen weirdly, what was he saying?
