Violen POV

Have you ever felt the night was long? Either because you are waiting for something or can't stand because you have to be stuck with something.

"Okay, take care of yourself. Daliah already told me that you were with Noah," said Lesley when I called her to let me know where I was. I thought that just in case something happened to me, someone should know where I am.

"What? Daliah told you? "

"Yeah, she came to my cafe this afternoon."

"Oh, okay. Did you meet Daren today?"

"Yeah, this afternoon, Daren went to the café. So what?"

"I tried to contact him, but it looks like his telephone number is not active," I said sadly.

"Daren is fine. And you will be fine too. okay? "

"Okay, bye," I hung up the phone.

I took a breath and let it out slowly. Lesley didn't even sound worried at all about me. What if Noah kills me here, or he rapes me. What will the end of my life be like?
