Jace pov.

"Since you've refused to reject Bella, well, you can keep her as a side bitch, I have no problem with that. I was just discussing with Alpha Jack of the Red Wolf Pack, pairing you and his beautiful daughter together as a couple since she's yet to find her mate. You'll love her when you see her; she's beautiful, not like that good-for-nothing omega girl."

I glared at my father, a mix of anger and disbelief in my eyes as I responded, "Read my lips, Dad. I said I am not interested."

My father got up from his seat, glaring back at me. "Dinner is at 8:00 p.m. this evening. If you miss it, you won't believe I'm your father."

I couldn't help but break character for a minute, as I burst out into laughter saying, "Oh really, Dad? It's so sad that you still think threats have any effect on me at this point."
