BELLA’S POV

The next day, I woke up to see that Jace wasn’t in the room as well. Already, his attitude since he came back from the war, was beginning to piss me off.

I had waited for a few minutes, and hadn’t seen him, so I decided to go to the living room to check on him. On getting to the living room, I walked down to the kitchen, only to find him, making breakfast. This made my cheeks, flush, and burn.

“I’m making breakfast, my lady. And it is done. It’s just for me to serve it.”

I blushed, and covered my mouth as I wanted to cover how much I was blushing. “I never expected you to cook.” I said, with a smile, which revealed my teeth.

“I know, right? But I was trying to make up for last night. I know I acted so strange, but I was really tired. So, I’ll be making up, this way.” He said, and winked at me.

I felt an adrenaline rush through my veins, and the way I stared at him, I could tell something was going to go on. I could see it in his eyes, already.
