INNER FIGHT

Damien stood tall, his broad chest rising and falling with each deep breath. His eyes were locked onto Carl, who paced back and forth, his silver fur shimmering under the dim light of the setting sun. Carl’s expression was one of pure arrogance, his lips curled into a sneer as he bared his sharp teeth.

“You should have just handed her over,” Carl growled, his voice dripping with malice. “This could have been avoided.”

Damien’s fists clenched at his sides, his wolf itching to tear into Carl, but beneath the surface, another force was stirring. His vampire side, the one he had worked tirelessly to suppress, was whispering to him. Just give in, it urged. Use your true power and end him.
