UNBEARABLE ATTRACTION
(IGNAS POV)
I watched the man whose eyes pierced my eyes, it was like he could see through my soul even when he was far away, which made me want to give myself to him. At that instant I knew something was wrong when my heart felt like it was burning and I could feel never before excitement in my body, i knew I had to escape from there at times because I couldn't control my body with his gaze on me. Then a chance to escape came when a soldier from the Full Moon pack attacked him from the back seeing he was in a daze. Taking that chance to escape, I ran away so fast, that I didn't even look at the injured soldier who was so angry and looked like he would beat me up when he got hold of me.
I immediately ran inside the little space left for the female healers to sleep. Only a few unconscious ones were lying down on the mat at this moment, I looked around in case he had followed and only sat down when I didn't notice any movement. My chest kept beating so fast when I remembered that moment.
It was late at night, and everything grew silent, the thought of sleeping never crossed my mind at all, and my eyes couldn't close because my heart was not relaxed. My mind keeps thinking about that Man.
“Who is he? Why do I feel that way?” it's a question I keep asking myself, but can't seem to find an answer.
I was still trying to get an answer to my questions when my mouth was suddenly covered which gave me a shock, and seeing who did that was a bigger surprise to me. I looked at him in shock and when I looked into his dark eyes, I felt terrified.
“Why was he here?! Is he here to harm me? Have I done anything wrong that attracts this man’s attraction?” Questions kept popping into my head but the man didn't seem to care to answer me as all he did was shut me up and suddenly carried me and left the room taking me to who knows where. I didn't know what gave me the courage to bite his palm covering my mouth.
He yelled, “Ouch!” He looked at me with a deadly eye, which caused shivers in my body.
“I am sorry! Sorry! You were covering my mouth tightly, I couldn't breathe!”
I peeped at him and saw his eyes grow soft which surprised me a bit. He looked like a powerful man who was Ruthless to people who offended him.
“What's your name?” He asked as he focused on me with a serious face.
My mind was raised with thoughts as I kept guessing why he would ask, but I decided to be truthful. “Ignas…My name is IGNAS!”
“IGNAS…”
The sound of his voice as he pronounced my name caused shivers to run down my body, I couldn't help wanting him to say my name again, but I had to hold myself. The sound of my name on his tongue was like a seductive whisper, wanting to lure out my soul and make me want to submit to him.
I questioned, “Wh..who are you?” I wanted to know what was going on and why I was being kidnapped by him at the end of the night.
“You wanna know?” He asked with a captivating smile on his face. I couldn't stop my heart from beating fast again which was strange to me.
“Yes! I told you mine.”
He suddenly laughed as he looked at me, making me confused, I don't think I had said anything funny that caused laughter.
“My name is Leo Packer, the Alpha of the Dominic Pack. I need you to confirm something!” He answered seriously, looking at him in confusion.
Confused, I asked, “Confirm what…Hmphf!”
My mind grew blank as his mouth covered mine, I couldn't think of anything but look at him in shock as he placed his lips on mine. Then it occurred to me that I was being harassed.
I fumed with anger, “How dare he?!” But it felt good, I could feel my heart beating so fast. I didn't know when I placed my hands around his neck as I tiptoed to meet his lips and deepen the kiss.
He groaned, “Argh!” then tightened his hands around my waist and drew me closer.
I felt my pores open, my spirit refreshed, and my soul accepting. I didn't know this feeling, but it was so refreshing like I had found a peaceful abode, which made me addicted.
After like eternity, he released my lips, but I still couldn't get past that feeling. It was soulful and refreshing.
“Mate! Mine, you are mine!”
His deep seductive growl woke me up from my daze. I looked at him with confusion until what he said settled in my head, making me look up in shock.
“Mate?! How could it be?!” I whispered unbelievably.
“What do you mean by that? Can't you feel it? The attraction, the heartburn? The feelings? Didn't your wolf give you a signal?” Leo asked me in confusion and I shook my head negatively, which made him more confused.
“I didn't feel anything, only pain at first, that's all! So how come you are my mate? This is ridiculous! I already passed the age of getting a mate! So how could you be my mate?” I denied his words immediately.
Leo’s eyes glowed with anger after he heard me. “What do you mean by that?! Are you telling me I am making a mistake here? I am not a fool and I know you are my mate! Or do you have someone? Because I know you can't have two mates! Besides, I am 27 years old, and you are my first mate, so what do you mean by you pass the age of getting a mate?! Answer me!” He questioned.
“It's impossible because I am without a wolf! I am a nobody! Why would the moon goddess make a man like you my mate? And to crown it all both our packs are enemies! So how could I be your mate?!
(Ignas' POV)His surprised face almost sent me into fits of laughter. Mighty Alpha Leo, the brutal leader of the Dominic Pack, looked like a fish just out of water. I watched him, his after-shock face rolling from one confusion into another, and a smile crept inside. Never have I thought I would ever see such a terrifying Alpha this unsure.“Having a good time?" I taunt. "Is this all a big game to you? You think it's funny to pretend like I am your mate?”He stared at me, his dark eyes chasing mine, as if he didn't understand what I had said. I felt this weird satisfaction, like taunting him was some kind of victory that I needed after all I'd been through. And when I turned, ready to walk away from him and the storm of emotions he'd stirred up, his hand caught my arm, holding me firmly in place."Wait," he said, his voice low but commanding. "What do you mean by that? What are you trying to say, you have no wolf?”I stood there, my heart pounding, and anger rising in me. He stared a
Deep Conversation (Alpha Leo's POV)I watched her small figure disappear into the distance, a smirk twisting my lips. She actually thought she could walk away, just leave and forget the spark of the bond flaring to life between us. Cute. The temptation to pull her back into me, to make her mine right here and now was too huge. I made myself stay in place, though, fists clenched in hopes it would hold at bay the possessiveness bubbling up inside me. Is it Normal to feel this? this raw desperate need to claim someone I'd just met?My wolf growled in response, as if reminding me of the answer. She's your mate; that's what happens.I knew it was supposed to be this all-consuming magnetic pull when finding a mate, but I'd convinced myself long ago that wasn't going to happen with me. Years passed, and well, I'd grown accustomed to the fact that the Moon Goddess had other plans for me. I'd accepted a lone Alpha, one that didn't have anyone by his side. And yet, here she was…Ignas. Heavy Heart(Ignas' POV)I came back to camp as quietly as one could, stepping light without the slightest noise that could make somebody notice. The last thing I needed was that anybody noticed my absence and started asking questions. I had enough attention this night, more than enough confusion. It swirled through my mind, the memory of his piercing gaze, the possessiveness in his tone when he'd called me "mate." I let a wry laugh loose into the still night. How fucking absurd was this? Why, when I'd finally let go of the idea that I'd ever have a mate, did the Moon Goddess decide to give me one now?And not some insignificant person either, but a powerful, dangerous Alpha from the Dominic Pack, the enemy pack. That just about covered it for cruel jokes as far as I knew, almost as if I was being punished for doing something that I didn't even know I had done.If my mate had been somebody normal, some uncomplicated decent man, I would have thanked my stars. A Boring War(Alpha Leo's POV)Morning came with the clanging of men in training, the ripple of laughter across the camp, and the clash of weapons in simulated combat outside. Boisterous, it was, from without, but inside my quarters, I lay still, my mind not on routines and drills of my men.All I could think about were the conversations from yesterday-the possibility, however slight, that Ignas had been poisoned. It was truly a bitter taste in my mouth. Who would go to such an extent to hurt her? My rational mind wanted to shut it down-to believe she was weak-but something far inside of me couldn't let it be. She had been poisoned, then whoever was responsible would suffer. Badly. As my mind wandered, I could almost see an image of Ignas: the way she'd walked away from me yesterday, her back rigid with resolve, her cheeks puffed in frustration, her dimples showing when glaring at me. Chapter 9: The Bond is Real(Ignas' POV)The silence that settled between us was thick, weighted in tension I could not ignore. I watched Leo step out of the shadows, his big frame silhouetted against the faint moonlight. Those piercing eyes of his locked on mine, and for a moment, I wanted to look away-to shield myself from the weight of his stare. But I didn't.I didn't budge, my back straight and my chin high. If he thought I was going to wilt under his presence, then he had another thing coming. I wasn't that weak. Not anymore."You've been following me," I said, breaking the silence.Leo didn't bat an eyelid. "I wanted to see you."His tone was light, but what was underneath those words hit a lot heavier than I thought it would. Crossing my arms over my chest, buffering myself from whatever game he played, I said, "Why? So you can convince me I'm your mate again? You're wasting your time, Alpha.""Am I?" Chapter 10: Plans and Promises(Ignas' POV, briefly, then switches to Leo's POV)I stood frozen, my chest heaving, my lips still tingling from his kiss. He didn't say a word, but his eyes burned with an intensity that made me want to step back, even as my body refused to move.It was all Leo could manage to do before he stooped down again, his lips taking mine with even greater urgency. My breath caught, my hands instinctively shoving at his chest to push him back, but the effort felt weak, useless. This time, the kiss wasn't just heated, it was possessive, as though he needed me to feel what he couldn't put into words. His grip at my waist tugged tighter, pulling me closer, and I could feel the thrum of his heartbeat through the thin space between us.I wanted to fight it. I needed to fight it. But with every shift of his lips against mine, I felt the will being stripped away from me until there was only the raw, undeniable pull of the bond. When he finally pulled back, I gasped, st

FORCED AND BULLIED (IGNAS POV) Have you ever been bullied so much that you feel numb and indifferent about it as time goes on? Well, that's how I feel right now kneeling in front of the Alpha of my pack, as I was ordered to go with the healers of the pack to the place where war was happening, but it seems they forgot I was nothing but a weak woman without a wolf. “Do you understand my order?!” I woke up from my daze and looked at the old but heartless Alpha, he knew he might be pushing me to my death but he still went on heartlessly, making me wonder if he had a heart, but as it stands No one in this pack was nice and I don't even have a spec of hope they would listen to me if I say anything but would they? “Alpha, you know I am without a Wolf, and going to the war is like delivering myself to death! You are aware right?” I asked the only question I had asked since I got here. “Are you questioning the Alpha Ignas?! Besides you aren't the only healer going, and the oth

HIS MATE (ALPHA LEO’S POV) This fight has been dragging on for so long and it was getting annoying. I don't know why the Alpha of that small pack couldn't just leave the lands and had to resort to fighting, even if he was aware he had no chance of winning but since that was what he wanted then I had to fulfill his wishes, so I sent my pack new soldiers who had just come out of training so they could gain experience, but I didn't expect the Full Moon pack to be so useless. I had to rush here when the fight was prolonged, and that was when I found out the opponents had been hiding and not wanting to fight. It got me speechless and after anger, I felt so angst, like who goes to war but not fight? Why did the opposite side declare war and then hide? So I knew I had to finish this myself, and that was how an easy fight turned brutal when he got involved. My wolf started getting restless and excited which was strange as the fight was not even intense, his wolf had always loved somethi
