Seraphina’s Perspective

The night air was cool, but my body felt like it was on fire. As soon as the ceremony ended, Zach didn’t wait a second. He guided me to the car, his hand never leaving mine, his eyes filled with so much hunger and love that my heart fluttered. The moment the driver pulled up in front of his penthouse, Zach was out of the car and around to my side in seconds.

Before I could even step out, he scooped me up in his arms bridal style. I gasped.

“Zach!” I laughed softly, wrapping my arms around his neck. “Calm down.” He didn’t listen. He kicked the car door shut with his foot and began walking toward the elevator. “I’ve been calm for months, ma chérie,” he murmured, “but not tonight.” My cheeks turned red. I felt the heat in his voice, the tension in his body as he held me close. The elevator ride up was silent—but intense. His eyes didn’t leave mine once, and I could feel my heartbeat in my throat. The moment the elevator doors opened to the private penthouse floor

"Sera, I am not the one to repeat my words. So you better say yes in front of the whole kingdom when I ask you to mark me," Damien said, glaring at me. "Never," I spat. "I will never mark you, you fucking hybrid," I said with all the anger inside me. "Then you leave me no choice," he said as his eye color shifted from hazel to a deep crimson red. His vampire side had taken over. He took a step closer, and my heart started pounding in my chest. I knew exactly what was going to happen next. This time, it was his vampire side. Last time, it was his wolf. Each time I resisted him, he hurt me, made me regret it. And now I knew he was going to compel me, force the answer he wanted out of me. I quickly shut my eyes tightly so he couldn't use his power against me. There was no point in running, I was already injured, already weak. A cold, dark laugh filled the room, sending a shiver down my spine. "My, my, look how afraid you are, my Sera," he mocked. I could feel him getting closer, his prese

Seraphina's perspectiveFourteen years ago. ( 8 age )"What are you doing here, dog?" one of the girls sneered, her voice filled with disgust. I swallowed hard, trying to stand my ground, but my voice came out weak and shaky. I took a deep breath as I stood before the witches, my heart pounding in my chest. Their presence alone was enough to make me feel small, but the way they stared at me made it even worse. "I... I'm a werewolf, not a dog," I stammered, my throat tight. Tears burned my eyes as I tried to keep my emotions in check, but the cruel laughter that followed shattered what little courage I had. "Whatever," she said, rolling her eyes. "Look at the audacity of this werewolf stepping into a witches' coven." The other girl joined in her laughter, their amusement at my expense sending a fresh wave of humiliation through me. "You do realize that we can kill you, pup?" she added, smirking as if she enjoyed the idea. I took a shaky step forward, forcing myself to speak. "I... I w

Seraphina's perspective Present Time. (Age-22 )The sound of my phone buzzing against the desk snapped me out of my focus. I sighed, already knowing who it was before even glancing at the screen. "Sera, you better be on time. Otherwise, we'll have to stand in the waiting line to enter the club," Olivia's voice rang through the phone, laced with impatience. I groaned, stretching my arms before rubbing my temples. "I know, Liv. Can you stop calling every twenty minutes? I'm checking my students' assignments," I grumbled, flipping through another paper with a sigh. "Chill your ass. You can do that on Sunday night. It's Friday, and you need a break! We'll hit the club, find a hookup, and have the best night ever," she said enthusiastically. I rolled my eyes, already predicting the smirk that was undoubtedly spreading across her face. "Liv, I can practically feel you smirking through the phone. You go find the hookup. I'm not in the mood to get laid." I grabbed another assignment a

Seraphina's perspective Two days later"Tring tring!" Ugh. Stupid alarm. I groaned, blindly reaching out to turn it off. The shrill sound was enough to make me want to throw it across the room. Monday. Again. I buried my face deeper into my pillow, hoping that maybe, just maybe....if I ignored reality long enough, it would go away. Of course, that wasn’t going to happen. I sighed, rolling onto my back as I stared at the ceiling. I could already feel the exhaustion settling into my bones. The weekend had flown by too fast, and it hadn't even been exciting. Apart from Friday night, when I sent a bloodsucker straight to hell, I didn’t have much to celebrate. And Olivia....ugh, Olivia. She had the nerve to text me that she was leaving with the bouncer and that I should "find someone to bang." Like, seriously? That woman had no filter. I had just killed a vampire, and she wanted me to go flirt with some random guy? I groaned again at the memory.Dragging myself out of bed felt like a batt

Damien Perspective "Alpha, we have found ashes near the human club. It looked like that hunter’s last attack happened there," Ethan reported. I exhaled slowly, my jaw clenching. I sat behind my desk, fingers drumming against the polished wood, my patience hanging by a thread. The air in the room was thick with tension as my beta, Ethan, stood before me with his head bowed. His voice was steady, but I could hear the nervous edge in his tone. "Tell me, Ethan, did you find the hunter who’s been doing all this apart from the dead bodies and ashes?" My voice was cold, laced with deadly intent. Ethan hesitated. "Alpha... I'm sorry, but when we reached there, no one was there. We could only detect the ashes," he admitted. The moment those words left his mouth, I moved. In a blink, I was in front of him in my vampire speed, grabbing his collar and lifting him off the ground. The impact was so sudden that Ethan barely had time to react. His legs dangled as I held him mid-air, my grip tighte

Seraphina's perspective I groaned in frustration as I paced around my house, and my phone pressed against my ear. "I can't believe it! The principal actually combined our trip with Mr. Brown's class." My voice was laced with irritation as I ranted to Olivia. On the other end of the line, Olivia chuckled. "Come on, chill your ass. Just focus on your work and ignore him." I scoffed. "Yeah, seriously? This whole trip was my idea, and that asshole had the audacity to call it lame in the meeting. And now he's tagging along with his class as if it was his idea all along!""Sera, just ignore him. I wish I was coming with you instead. We could’ve had so much fun together." Olivia sighed. I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, right. Like this is some fun getaway. It’s an educational trip, Liv. There’s nothing fun about it." I slung my bag over my shoulder and stepped out, calling for a cab. "Still, you’ll be in the middle of a forest. You could at least enjoy a bonfire, tell spooky stories, or, I don’t kn

Seraphina’s PerspectiveThe restricted area was eerily quiet. Too quiet. With each step I took, the silence felt heavier, like an invisible force pressing down on me. I clutched my torch tightly, the flickering light casting long, twisted shadows on the damp ground. The further I walked, the more unsettling everything became. Then, a sharp gust of wind rushed past me. A shiver ran down my spine. The trees here were ancient, gnarled, and twisted, their branches stretching out like clawed fingers, reaching for the sky. The bark was rough and cracked, almost burnt, like they had survived a great fire long ago. Thick vines wrapped around the trunks like ropes, suffocating them. The ground was wet, covered in stagnant water, making my boots sink slightly with every step. The narrow path was littered with sharp stones and pebbles, making it difficult to walk without tripping. The water rippled unnaturally, as if something was lurking beneath its surface. Then came the sounds. A distant owl

Damien Perspective Next dayI clenched my jaw as I sat in the cold, dark dungeon, my body still bound by the heavy silver chains. My wolf Zyros was restless, snarling inside me, demanding to be free, while my vampire side burned with the need to hunt—to claim. The full moon had ended, yet the rage within me had not lessened. Instead, it intensified with each passing second. My so-called mate had the audacity to run away from me. The thought made my blood boil. How dare she? She was supposed to run into my arms, fall at my feet, and submit to me. Instead, she fled like a coward. My mate. My fucking mate ran away from me. I exhaled sharply, my nostrils flaring as her scent still lingered in the air—a maddening blend of vanilla and roses, the most intoxicating thing I had ever smelled. It wrapped around me, suffocating me with desire and rage. I wanted to see her face. I wanted to hear that melodic voice again, to have her whisper my name. But the night had betrayed me, keeping her hidd

Seraphina’s PerspectiveSix Months Later“Seraphina, are you ready for your Luna oath ceremony?” Charlotte’s cheerful voice rang through the room as she entered. I looked up from the mirror, smiling softly. “Yeah, just give me ten minutes. I’ll take a quick shower, and then you can help me get ready.”“Come on, girl! Chop chop, we don’t have enough time. Alpha will be here soon!” Ashley added as she stepped in behind Charlotte, grinning with excitement. I nodded and grabbed my towel before walking toward the bathroom. My heart was calm, but my mind was racing. As I closed the bathroom door behind me, I let out a slow breath. The moment the door clicked shut, it felt like the rest of the world paused for a second. I slowly undressed, letting my gown fall to the floor, and stepped into the shower. The warm water hit my skin, washing over my body like a gentle hug. I closed my eyes, tilted my head back, and let the water cascade over me. And in that quiet moment, memories flooded in. It

Seraphina’s PerspectiveIs he seriously asking me to remove my shirt… in front of everyone? My breath hitched as I stood there frozen, trying to understand the rage burning in Zach’s eyes. No, not Zach—Onyx. His wolf was in control now. Those glowing hazel eyes weren’t soft or human. They were wild, bloodthirsty, and possessive. And they were glaring at me like I was still marked by the enemy. I looked down at myself. It’s not like I had anything to hide. My body was fully covered in white bandages. The medics had wrapped me up to stop the bleeding and protect the open wounds. Even if I took off this shirt—Damien’s shirt, I wouldn’t be naked. But still… something about the way Onyx demanded it made a cold shiver run down my spine. His eyes—sharp, glowing, deadly—were still filled with rage. The battlefield was silent now except for the distant screams from Damien’s castle, where Zach’s warriors were finishing what he started. The war was over. Blood was spilt. Death was everywhere. Bu

Seraphina's PerspectiveI screamed as I hit the ground with full force, my knees scraping against the wet mud. Pain shot through my body, making my vision blur for a second. The storm above us was wild, like nature itself reacting to the chaos around. Thunder cracked through the sky, and heavy rain poured down on us like bullets. Everything had changed in a second. The moment Zach broke the barrier... it was like war had been declared. I could hear the howls of wolves, the roars, the growls. The sound of bodies crashing into each other filled the night as Zach's warriors clashed with Damien's pack. Screams echoed in the air, blood painted the soil, and the ground had truly become a battlefield. But I wasn't looking at any of that. All I could see... was him. Zach. My Zach. He was standing tall in the middle of the chaos, but something was wrong. I couldn't feel him through the bond the way I used to. It was like... he wasn't fully there. He was still focused entirely on Damien, who ha

Damien’s Perspective"My, my… look how the tables have turned," I muttered with a smug smirk stretching across my face as I stepped out of my castle. The air was thick with tension, the kind that sent a thrill down my spine. War was in the air—and I loved it. My boots crunched against the gravel path as I strode toward the edge of my territory. The spell I had asked the witches to place shimmered faintly in the air, creating an invisible barrier that not even a hybrid could cross. And there he was. Zach. Standing at my border with his entire army behind him. His shoulders were tense, jaw clenched, eyes full of fire. The bastard looked ready to tear through the world. I chuckled and took a few more steps closer to the barrier, hands in my coat pockets, just close enough so he could hear me clearly. "What? Can’t take the next step?" I mocked. Zach's body flinched at my words. "Fucking coward," he growled, eyes glowing. "Remove this fucking barrier!""Calling me a coward, Zach?" I raised

Seraphina's PerspectiveA few days later…“Luna, we are here to change your bandages,” one of the maids said gently, bowing down as she entered the room with another maid beside her. I simply nodded, not having the energy to say a word. I was sitting on the bed, my back resting against the cold wooden bedpost, a thin blanket covering my lower body. My shirt was loose and damp with sweat, sticking to my skin uncomfortably. I knew this part of the day would come—again—and I braced myself for the pain. The maids moved quietly, placing a small tray of clean bandages, herbs, and warm water on the table nearby. They always came in pairs. One would help hold me still while the other cleaned the wounds. One of them stepped closer and carefully reached for the hem of my shirt. “May I, Luna?” she asked softly, her eyes not meeting mine. I nodded again, biting the inside of my cheek as I lifted my arms slowly, flinching slightly. My muscles were stiff, sore, and weak. The moment her hands touch

Seraphina’s Perspective"Ahhh… f-fuck," I groaned weakly as I slowly regained consciousness, my entire body throbbing with unbearable pain. The first thing I noticed was the cold metal around my neck… again. That damn collar. Then I realized I was back in his room. Damien’s bed. My wrists and ankles were chained to the bedposts. A thick iron collar wrapped tightly around my throat, the same one that blocked my wolf—Ella—from healing me or shifting. Sunlight streamed through the windows, and birds chirped cheerfully outside like the world was just normal… but inside this room, it was a fucking nightmare. I turned my head slightly, wincing at the sharp pain shooting through my neck and spine. My body was burning, my skin bruised and raw. I was laying on the same blood-soaked sheets from yesterday. My blood. The fabric was sticky beneath me. The strong metallic scent filled my nostrils, making me feel nauseous.Tears fell down my cheeks silently as memories from yesterday flooded back li

Seraphina’s Perspective“Let’s play a game, shall we?” Damien’s voice was low, deep, and filled with something dangerous. His eyes gleamed under the dim lights, glowing with power, madness… and something far worse. He dragged his finger slowly across the silver chain wrapped tightly in his hand. I could see the silver burning into his skin—blistering, smoking even—but he didn’t flinch. Not once. It was like he didn’t even feel pain. Or maybe… he liked it. My heart pounded against my chest so loud I thought it might explode. “I’ll ask you a question,” he continued with a sick smile, “and you’ll answer me like my good and obedient mate.” Mate? I froze. He was insane. “I’m not your mate,” I whispered, almost too quietly to be heard. “That bond… it’s gone. Zach marked me.”But I didn’t say the last part out loud. I didn’t want to push him more than he already was. His delusions were dangerous enough. “Damien, please… let me go,” I tried to beg, my voice shaking. Fear was all over me. It w

Zach’s PerspectiveHow fucking dare he. I stood there, fists clenched at my sides, watching that bastard—Damien—walk away like he owned the damn world. Every bone in my body screamed to run after him and rip his head off. But I didn’t. Not yet. He knew what he was doing. He brought up my father. My best friend. The ones I lost—the ones he knew I still mourned. He did it just to get a reaction out of me. And it worked. My wolf was pacing like a madman inside me, growling, ready to lunge. And then… he had the fucking audacity to bring Seraphina into it. To say she thought about him. That she still had him in her mind. What the fuck. Seraphina is mine. My mate. My eternity. My everything. I would burn this whole world down before I ever let him touch her again. I wanted to kill him then and there. My claws were already pushing through my skin. I could feel the sharpness of them. Just one swipe and I could’ve ended him. But I didn’t. Because of the protection barrier. The moment I lowered
