Chapter 62

On getting to the hospital, Alexandra parked Kirklin’s car at the in-patient's car park and went inside to get an update.

She enquired from the front desk personnel concerning the status of the man that was bought in by an ambulance. The staff couldn’t give her any information because she wasn’t his next of kin or family member so Alexandra waited in the Emergency section to see if she could speak with anyone.

No one would attend to her and she was asked to leave that place and go to the general waiting area. She knew that there was no point hanging around as she wasn’t related to him and they wouldn’t allow her to see Kirklin.

She then went to his car to retrieve her wet luggage and then went to the Emergency section to hand over Kirklin’s car keys to the people in charge of collecting and returning the properties of accident victims. She then decided to hurriedly return her luggage to her house and come back to the hospital to continue to try her luck if she would be allowed to know
