Chapter 48

Surprisingly, by the time Alexandra’s foster parents eventually met Mr. and Mrs. Laurent, they realized they were classmates and close friends from the University.

They were a group of 6 friends; 3 ladies and 3 men and all the couples started dating from school and eventually got married. They had lost contact ever since they graduated and it was such a lovely reunion.

Mrs. Laurent and Alexandra’s foster mum cried and hugged so much. The Laurents were so glad to have helped their good friends’ child when she was in dire need of help and they were encouraged and determined to always help because the simple help they rendered to Alexandra came right back home.

They asked about the third couple with whom they were friends but Mr. Laurent said he heard they died in an accident many years ago and that news hit all of them hard but they had to cheer up because of their reunion and the newborns.
