He ordered the HR Director to hold on with the recruitment she was handling as they have just gotten another investor that would be taking over immediately. The new management had stated they would like to select their candidates of choice for the vacant positions in the company.

The External Auditors had laid off so many incompetent staff members that contributed to the ruin of the giant company and they still planned to lay off all the current Directors but they wanted the new Management to settle in well and understand the system thoroughly before they would let go of the remaining inept staff.

The HR Director who didn’t know she had only a couple of days left on her job clenched her teeth and angrily replied “But, I was just about handing an employment letter over to a candidate when you called”

“For what position?” asked the Chief External Auditor.

“Director, Business Advisory” she replied sternly.

“That’s a senior position… Schedule another interview with the candidate for 10 am
