5. She's the chosen one

Episode 5

Corovi is the step brother of Lucy.

Lucy is the present king of a supernatural kingdom known as HACE, the demons clan.

Corovi was caught trying to poison the king. No one knows his reason for committing such a heinous act but they all believed that it was due to his greed for the throne...

"He is a betrayal, punish him!!!"

"He has to be punished!!!"

"Kill him!!"

"He deserved to be killed"

The people of Hace kept on enchanting without trying to pay ears to his pleads...

For some strange reasons,Lucy did not kill him..

"No! I can't do..How can I stain my hands with my own brother's blood" Lucy yelled..

There was a brief silence as everyone tried to reason what their king had just said..

"Then cast him into the furnace" one of the elders suddenly said..

"That's a good idea,people like him deserves to be thrown into the furnace" Another elder added..

"We concur!!" They all chorused...

"What if he escapes and comes back for revenge?" Lucy thought...

"After much deliberation on this matter,I have finally come to a conclusion that corovi is banished from Hace and never to return" Lucy ordered.

"All hail king lucy"

"All hail our wise king" 

The people chorused..

                  Corovi's POV

After all the good things I did for my people,they still had the guts to banish me..

Yes! I tried to punish the king but nobody ever tried to know why I did it.

What's the need of being good?

Being good really sulks?

So what if I couldn't get Hace? I will conquer earth and make it mine..

Before I was thrown down to the earth,I managed to influence some demons to come down with me..

There is a great seer named Zach among this demons. I have summoned him to come and read my future, I'm sure he would be here anytime soon. 

Just then, I heard some movements. 

"I know you would come meet me" 

"Anything for you master" Zach replied with a slight bow.

"Good..I want you to look into the future and tell me if there's any thing that will be able to stop me from conquering the earth" 

"Your wish is my command" 

After a while..

"There's a problem" He exclaimed, breathing heavily.

"What is it?"

"A woman!"

"A woman?" I repeated, confused.

"Yes my lord! Avoid women with brown eyes,she will cause your downfall" Zach said.

"Tsh..how can an ordinary woman cause my downfall?" I scoffed.

"She is not just an ordinary woman,she is the chosen one"

"Chosen one?" Is she a human?" I inquired.

"I really don't know,my Lord..From what I saw she looks like a human but I could perceive the fragrance of the fallen Angels emitting from her"

"The fallen Angels?" I exclaimed, shocked.

"Yes my lord"

"No! This can be!! What should I do?"I inquired..

The fallen Angels are one of the strongest pillars of Earth. 

"You have to look for her and kill her before she discovers her power" Zach advised.

"But what if she has already discovered it?" 

"From my vision,she was still struggling to make use of her powers..I don't think she even knows who she truly is" 

I heaved a deep sigh of relief. That means I am a step ahead of them.

"Can you describe her and I will draw.." I said.

I'm a very good artist, it's one of my natural gifts.

"Sure my lord"

He described her and I kept on drawing until he stopped talking. I took a closer look at the picture and was shocked to see a familiar face.

Saphira!

"I know her" I exclaimed in disbelief.

"You know her?" Zach repeated.

"Yes! I have met her in the past" 

"Then this is an opportunity for you to stop her existence" Zach smirked.

"Of course! I really love doing stuffs like this" I said and let out a loud laugh..

       Saphira's POV 

After our reconciliation at the mall, I and Jeffrey had become good friends.

He always calls or texts me. Whenever I'm sad, he always comes up with a way to make me happy. It's really fun to be around him.

I was in my room chatting with my friends when a message popped up my screen.

"Look through your window"

It was from Jeffrey. 

Through the window? What could be there?

I sluggishly walked up to my window and I was surprised to see Jeffrey. He was standing on the balcony.

"Jeffrey" I exclaimed, shocked.

"Shhhh" he whispered.

"What are you doing here? And how did you get there?" I said with a lower tone, still surprised.

"I'll answer that when we get down"

"Down?" I repeated  "that's not even possible cause mum won't let me go outside alone"

" Who said you have to tell your mum?"

" Huh?"

" You're gonna use the window" He chuckled.

" What? Window?"

"Don't be scared I'm not gonna let you fall"

"But mum won't be happy when she finds out" 

" How would she know? Unless you plan on telling her"

" But.."

"I'm not gonna force you, I only came here because I felt sorry for the way your parents are just caging you like some kind of prisoner. Come on you're no longer a child! But it's okay if you don't want to do this."

Jeffrey is right! I feel more or less like a prisoner in this house. My friends goes to parties, outings and have fun but I'm not even allowed to step out of the house without a partner.

I would like to feel what it's to have fun outside and that would be tonight.

"I'll see you tomorrow" Jeffrey said, bringing me out of my thoughts.

"I'll come with you" I briskly replied.

I locked my door and carefully jumped out of the window, to the balcony.

"This is gonna be fun, trust me" Jeffrey chuckled.

" Forgive me mum" I muttered.

Jeffrey held my hand and jumped down.

I closed my eyes in fear and let out a scream, but he covered my mouth with his hand as we both fell to the ground.

I opened my eyes to behold his face. Our face was metres apart, I could feel his breath on mine face. 

My heart raced as I stared at his lips.
