GRAYSON'S POV

I sat onto my bed, feeling the weight of the day pressing down on me as I cradled my phone between my shoulder and ear. My mind had been racing for hours, grappling with how to protect my family from Alice and William’s scheming. Stewart’s voice crackled through the receiver, a steady presence amid my swirling thoughts.
