SYLVIA'S POV

As Grayson and I watched Konrad walk to his car, I couldn’t help but notice that despite the smile still lingering on Grayson’s lips, something about him seemed off. There was a tension in his shoulders, a tightness in his jaw that betrayed the hurt he was trying to mask. My hand instinctively found its way to his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat beneath my palm. "Are you okay?" I asked softly, my eyes searching his face for any sign of the turmoil I knew he was feeling.

He looked down at me, his smile faltering slightly as our eyes met. "I'm fine," he replied, but the words felt hollow, lacking the usual warmth that colored his voice.

The Realtor, who had been waiting nearby, sensing the heaviness in the air, cleared his throat and gestured toward the next property. "Shall we head to the next location?"
