SYLVIA'S POV

Grayson finally pulled over to an old office building, and I couldn’t help but feel a mix of confusion and curiosity bubbling up inside me. The building looked abandoned, with faded paint peeling off its once grand façade, and the windows were clouded with years of dust and neglect. It was clear this place hadn’t seen much life in a long time.

"Grayson, what are we doing here?" I asked, turning to him as he killed the engine. My voice was tinged with bewilderment, as I couldn't fathom why he would bring me to a place like this.

He turned to me, his expression softening as he prepared to explain. "This building," he began, "used to be the headquarters of Lockwood Corporations before we went global. When we expanded, we sold it to a private contractor, but unfortunately, his business didn’t survive, and the building has been empty ever since. It’s been sitting here for decades, collecting dust, and, as you can see, some parts have even started to mold."
