ALEX's POV
“ Hello, Buddy!” Aaron said clapping on my back. He had joined us as the props manager but he spent most of the time chatting with us. Thankfully Alice had arranged more students to handle the props.
“ Aaron, you are late. I feel that I am the only one serious about the play. Eva has not arrived too. Anyway, have you made arrangements for the balcony?” Alice ranted exasperatedly.
<EVA's POVI was sitting in the living room, killing time, when I felt his distress. I could sense that Alex was in trouble. I sprang out of my seat with the intenton of seeking him out but Erick’s phone rang, distracting me. “ Hello, Mr. Dixon. Have you heard the latest news?” A sultry voice rang through the phone.
ALEX's POVThe jeep I was in, swerved and came to a halt. I was forced to open my eyes. I could see the outline of the police station through the tainted windows. I always considered policemen as my protectors but now the police station represented endless misery. Mark dragged me out and jostled me ahead. He led me to a cell and pushed me in. he then locked me up. Turning around I saw two more inmates sitting on the floor. I
ALEX's POVClank! Clank! Clank! “ Wake up idiot! You have visitors!”The sharp voice woke me up. I wondered who was screaming like this, so early in the morning. My body felt so stiff. I stretched my arms and rubbed my eyes trying to open them. When I saw the oppressive walls of the cell, reality crashed onto me, in full force. I stood up with a jolt. I felt blood rush to my head. I staggered but I grabbed the iron
ALEX's POVEntering Aaron’s home I found Mrs. Lockhart bustling in the kitchen. Alice was helping her cut some vegetables. When Alice saw me she left her work and came dashing towards me. She gave me a tight hug and said, “ I am sooo glad that you are back, Alex.”
ALEX's POVAaron and Alice accompanied me to the college. Was it only yesterday that I was dragged away by the police. It seemed to have happened so long ago. I had given up the hope of coming back to the college but here I was. All thanks to my friends who stood up for me and had faith in me and of course Eva. If she hadn’t recorded that video I would be still rotting in jail.
EVA"S POV“ Do we really have to throw this party, Eric?” I asked disgruntled at the idea of being in the company of so many humans.“ Yes, Eva. We have no choice. It is already a month since we have come to El Rosa and we haven’t thrown a party yet. Rich people like to throw parties now and then. We want to blend with the people, Eva. They will start talking if we stay aloof. We don’t want to be
ALEX's POVToday the auditorium was bustling. Aaron was busy setting up some props while Elsa was checking the fitting of the costumes. All the others were doing the work assigned to them with dedication but where was Alice? Wasn’t she supposed to be running around, barking orders?I saw her sitting on a chair with a brooding expression. She was staring at the mobile screen blankly. I walked towards her and stood before
ALEX's POVNow, Alice and her team are going to present the play, Romeo and Juliet. Let me introduce you to the cast. Alex is playing the role of Romeo, Aaron is playing the role of Juliet. Luna and Maria are becoming trees. The narrator’s voice was the cue to take our positions on the stage.Aaron climbed up the stairs and stood on the makeshift balcony while I stood in the corner of the stage obscured from view. The cu
EVA'S POVI felt that being in Alex’s arms in front of our mini Amor lake was the best thing that could happen in my life but I was wrong. There would be many more magical moments like this in my life.Alex took out a red ribbon and blindfolded me suddenly.“ Hey! What are you doing.” I muttered in protest.
ALEX'S POVEva stuck to me the whole day like a koala. I found it very cute, but it was impertinent that I got out of here, else my surprise would be ruined. I wanted everything to be perfect. Finally, I had to message Melisa to come and get me out of Susie’s house. The moment Melisa and Athena arrived I sneaked out bef
EVA'S POVMy head throbbed like hell as I tried to open my eyes. The bright sunlight streaming in from the window caused me to flinch. I shielded my eyes with my hand. Someone drew the curtains and turned the lights on. I rubbed my eyes and tried to open them again. When I finally managed to open my eyes I was pleasantly surprised to see Alex. The joy I felt was so intense that it hurt. I open
ALEX'S POVI was so happy today. The lake and the garden had turned out exactly as I had planned. I sat on the swing admiring its beauty for a while. My body ached like I had been beaten with a rod. I stretched myself in an attempt to get some relief from some pain. From the past seven days, I had worked from dawn to dusk to complete the work. Though I missed Eva a lot,
EVA'S POVI paced in my room all day but Alex didn’t return. I must have called him at least a hundred times but he didn’t pick up my call. I was on the verge of a breakdown when Susie came to check on me.I can’t describe how light I felt after rambling everything to her. “ What should I do Susie? I just wanted to make everything right&n
ALEX'S POVI drove Susie’s car straight to Aaron’s house. Sweat trickled down my forehead and my hands trembled slightly as I rang the bell. Alice opened the door and let me in. Her face bore a pained expression and her eyes were baggy due to crying. I wondered what Mrs. Lockhart’s condition might be. “ Alex, my dear, long time no see. Didn’t you miss Aunt Linda?” She asked getting up to welcome me. Surprisingly, she looked perfectly normal. Had Aaron managed to stop Eva before she told Aunt Linda?
EVA'S POVThe rays of the sun shone brightly on my face making it difficult to sleep any further. I stretched my hands and a yawn escaped my mouth. I could get used to this. I wish I could sleep while I was a vampire. The 500 years of my existence wouldn’t have seemed so daunting then. After a quick shower I looked around Susie’s house but there was no one. Just then a delicious ar
ALEX'S POVI felt my heart sink when Eva said that she wished to go to Dixonville. I wanted to tell her the truth about Eric and Emily but how could I tell her that the ones who had been her guardian for 500 years had betrayed her. She would feel so heartbroken at that news. So, I followed her quietly fully expecting to be ambushed any minute but it never happened.
EVA'S POVThe cool shower of water pulled me out of the oblivion I was in. I opened my eyes wondering if I was in some other world. I had never heard Vampires talk about afterlife. When the haze before my eyes cleared I could see Susie standing before me. Was she dead too? She helped me sit up and made me drink some water. It tasted sweet and refreshing. If I knew water was so reviving I would have drunk pretty decent quantities of water in my existence.
