EVA'S POV
The cool shower of water pulled me out of the oblivion I was in. I opened my eyes wondering if I was in some other world. I had never heard Vampires talk about afterlife. When the haze before my eyes cleared I could see Susie standing before me. Was she dead too?
She helped me sit up and made me drink some water. It tasted sweet and refreshing. If I knew water was so reviving I would have drunk pretty decent quantities of water in my existence.
ALEX'S POVI felt my heart sink when Eva said that she wished to go to Dixonville. I wanted to tell her the truth about Eric and Emily but how could I tell her that the ones who had been her guardian for 500 years had betrayed her. She would feel so heartbroken at that news. So, I followed her quietly fully expecting to be ambushed any minute but it never happened.
EVA'S POVThe rays of the sun shone brightly on my face making it difficult to sleep any further. I stretched my hands and a yawn escaped my mouth. I could get used to this. I wish I could sleep while I was a vampire. The 500 years of my existence wouldn’t have seemed so daunting then. After a quick shower I looked around Susie’s house but there was no one. Just then a delicious ar
ALEX'S POVI drove Susie’s car straight to Aaron’s house. Sweat trickled down my forehead and my hands trembled slightly as I rang the bell. Alice opened the door and let me in. Her face bore a pained expression and her eyes were baggy due to crying. I wondered what Mrs. Lockhart’s condition might be. “ Alex, my dear, long time no see. Didn’t you miss Aunt Linda?” She asked getting up to welcome me. Surprisingly, she looked perfectly normal. Had Aaron managed to stop Eva before she told Aunt Linda?
EVA'S POVI paced in my room all day but Alex didn’t return. I must have called him at least a hundred times but he didn’t pick up my call. I was on the verge of a breakdown when Susie came to check on me.I can’t describe how light I felt after rambling everything to her. “ What should I do Susie? I just wanted to make everything right&n
ALEX'S POVI was so happy today. The lake and the garden had turned out exactly as I had planned. I sat on the swing admiring its beauty for a while. My body ached like I had been beaten with a rod. I stretched myself in an attempt to get some relief from some pain. From the past seven days, I had worked from dawn to dusk to complete the work. Though I missed Eva a lot,
EVA'S POVMy head throbbed like hell as I tried to open my eyes. The bright sunlight streaming in from the window caused me to flinch. I shielded my eyes with my hand. Someone drew the curtains and turned the lights on. I rubbed my eyes and tried to open them again. When I finally managed to open my eyes I was pleasantly surprised to see Alex. The joy I felt was so intense that it hurt. I open
ALEX'S POVEva stuck to me the whole day like a koala. I found it very cute, but it was impertinent that I got out of here, else my surprise would be ruined. I wanted everything to be perfect. Finally, I had to message Melisa to come and get me out of Susie’s house. The moment Melisa and Athena arrived I sneaked out bef
EVA'S POVI felt that being in Alex’s arms in front of our mini Amor lake was the best thing that could happen in my life but I was wrong. There would be many more magical moments like this in my life.Alex took out a red ribbon and blindfolded me suddenly.“ Hey! What are you doing.” I muttered in protest.
