Chapter 8

Getting to the pack house, the gammas came to me with some terrible news.

“Just when I'm meant to relax” I muttered groaning.

Oh well, what's an Alpha going to do?

The news was about a territory we once marked as ours, some rogues had come in to attack the men I kept on guard around that place.

One thing I hate more in my entire life after.... was rogues, those good for nothing lone wolves.

After hearing the news, I sent more wolves to the territory asking them to keep guard, fight and kill any rogue challenging them.

“I don't need any wolf or rogue stressing me, I have more deadly problems on my paws,” I said as I went up to my chamber to have a rest.

CREED POV’S

“Creed” I could hear my name from a female’s mouth.

I raised my head slowly to see who it was, I looked up seeing a beautiful lady, it was Erica, I was excited and at the same time ashamed of myself.

“Oh my, Erica, ....” I said as she cut me in.

“Quiet, I'm not here to talk to you,” She said reaching out for my broken arm. She touched it and gently healed my arm returning it to its perfect form.

I felt so relaxed while she touched me, it was almost like I was in a cave of souls.

After a while, she removed her hands and looked at me for a few minutes without uttering a word.

“See me in my office,” were the last words I heard from her before she left.

I sat down thinking about the possible retributions of what I had done earlier.

I noticed the clock was ticking and didn't want to get Erica more furious by keeping her waiting.

As instructed I came into her office few minutes later, I tramped into her office pleading for her to forgive me about the clash earlier.

“Have you forgotten your manners?” She questioned me with a strict look on her face. I was so bent on asking for her forgiveness that I forgot to knock before attempting to enter her office.

“I'm sorry, Um, I just wanted to apologize for what I did earlier, I couldn't bear to see you with another wolf, I'm.....” I said apologizing as she cut me short.

“Would you shut up! Bear to see what?, how dare you fight an Alpha? Is that how you wolves behave in your pack?” She questioned me jolting her eyes at me.

I could feel a mind link between Erica and heard her wolf telling her to calm down.

I proceeded to talk to her insisting that she should listen to her wolf, she looked at me slowly with anger ranging in her eyes

“And who are you to tell me what to do?” Those were the exact words she said to me.

I totally forgot that Alpha’s don't like being controlled or being told what to do.

At this point, I began to have little nervousness for Erica, Although she is my mate but she is also the most powerful Alpha female there is.

“Now Creed listen to me, whatever happened today should not in any way repeat itself again, or else I'll put you in your place, do you understand?” she groaned at me.

“Yes Erica, I mean ma'am,” I said with a shiver.

“And now listen, I'm giving you 24hrs to reject me as your mate or else...” She groaned to me as I cut her short.

Erica seemed to be furious with me for cutting her Short but I was tired of her asking me to reject her.

“Or else what? Erica, I'm into you, I'm not afraid of your status or any Alpha, I'm your mate, we're meant to be soul mates” I argued with her.

She kept on referring to me as an abomination to her pack, I was hurt every time she said that, I continued to challenge her telling her that I would never reject her as my mate and that was final.

After listening to all I had said, she banged her hand against the table asking me to leave her office as her eyes switched from gold to black.

Once more, I was in pain hearing her call me an abomination.

I couldn't stay at work anymore, I took a leave from Aiden lying to him that I had treatments to undergo now which he agreed to.

“Alright here's your leave, be back by tomorrow morning,” he said I as nodded my head leaving his office.

I returned to the Crystal white pack to relax after a long day at work when I was instructed by the Gamma that the Alpha needed to see.

“Even after a long day of work, I don't still get to rest” I muttered to myself as I walked into the chamber greeting him as usual.

“All hail the great Alpha of the Crystal white pack,” I said to him.

“You know you've been the most loyal omega I have in this pack and I acknowledge that a lot,” he said to me with a grin on his face.

“Thank you sir” I replied to him.

“I didn't call you for an errand, but to let you know that you should prepare yourself,” he said to me.

“Prepare me for what?” I questioned him as I became confused.

“I'll need you to start joining the pack for their daily training, we have a war against some rogues ahead” he replied to me.

“Rogues?” I asked surprised.

Those stupid dogs, I haven't heard from them for a while.

“Yes rogues, They are going about taking territories already marked by packs, I'll need you to be on standby for the main time, so you would have to join the pack for their training” he replied to me.

“But I have work” I replied to him.

“I'm aware of that and you would start yours during dusk every day,” he said to me.

“Alright, Alpha Blake, may I leave?” I asked him.
