As instructed he came into my office few minutes later, he sauntered into my office requesting me to forgive him about the conflict earlier. “Have you forgotten your manners? Why didn't you knock before entering my office?” I questioned him giving him a rigid look on my face. “I'm sorry, Um, I just wanted to apologize for what I did earlier, I couldn't bear to see you with another wolf, I'm.....” he said apologizing as I cut him short. “Would you shut up! Bear to see what?, how dare you fight an Alpha? Is that how you wolves behave in your pack?” I questioned him jolting my eyes at him. “Erica? Please go easy” I could hear Avila speaking. “Keep it down” I muttered to Avila. “Please listen to your wolf” Creed said with a mind link as I looked at him slowly. “And who are you to tell me what to do?” I responded to him. One thing about Alphas is that we don't like being controlled or being told what to do. We are the Alphas we are supposed to control everyone and not the other way around. “Now Creed listen to me, whatever happened today should not in any way repeat itself again, or else I'll put you in your place, do you understand?” I groaned at him. “Yes Erica, I mean ma'am,” he said with a shiver. Creed seemed to fear me a lot, but I don't understand why he'd always challenge me when it comes to rejecting me as his mate. “And now listen, I'm giving you 24hrs to reject me as your mate or else...” I groaned to him as he cut me short. What! Did he just...I got angry and tried to control myself. Why did I get angry? You don't Disrespect an Alpha no matter who you are. “Or else what? Erica, I'm into you, I'm not afraid of your status or any Alpha, I'm your mate, we're meant to be soul mates” he said irritating me as I shivered. “Soul mates with an Omega? Uttering such words from your mouth could get you killed do you know that? Creed! Can't you see that you're an abomination to my pack, I can't have you around me, don't you get?” I said yelling at him. “I don't care if I'm an abomination or a condemnation, I don't really care, I swear by the moon goddess that I'll never reject you as my mate no matter what and that's final” He groaned at me. “What rubbish have you uttered?” I questioned him in shock. “I don't care if you tend to see it as rubbish that's your choice but I've just told you the truth and nothing more than the truth” he responded to me. I couldn't believe he just said that, is my years of hard work finally going to go down the drain? I questioned myself as I walked slowly to my sit. “Get out!” I said to him slowly. “What?” he questioned. “I said leave my office!” I said banging my table as my eyes spun from gold to black. “Who's this scoundrel? Why did I have to come across such a dog in my life huh? It's all Aiden’s fault I shouldn't have instructed him to recruit in new workers now see the mess I've walked into” I said grumbling. “Moon goddess what do I do?” “I can't lose my rank, I've worked so hard for this, years and years of labor and nothing more, and now this wolf wants to demolish it within few minutes,” I said grumbling. Avila could possibly hear me but she didn't want to involve herself. I continued to think of several ways to get rid of Creed, I didn't want blood on my paws, I wasn't raised like that, I am an Alpha my job is to protect, my powers are to heal and cure wolves, I am meant to rescue and save not endanger. I can't allow blood on my paws. “Should I fire him?” I questioned myself. Firing creed wouldn't solve my problems he would always come back to find me, this time he may even come to the pack house and then everyone would know about him and I being mates, I can't take that risk! “Or should I abduct him and keep him hostage, that way I could think of what to do you him or Even force him to reject him, every low-ranked wolf should fear death right?” I questioned myself once more. “Erica!” I could hear Avila shout. “Avila?” I replied. “Why do you want to hurt him?” Avila asked me. “I don't, I just want to get him off my claws, You know he's an obstacle in my life” I muttered to her. “I understand that but please don't hurt him,” Avila said to me as I sensed in and exhaled. “I won't, I promise, I'll give him a little space before abducting him” I replied to her laying back on my sit. 7:34 pm twilight I headed back to the pack house to let Avila run wild and relax a little. It was 8:33 pm, I parked my car in the garage, went into the house, and changed. A few minutes later I went outside, got deep into the woods, and allow my wolf to take its form. While Avila ran pounding her paws on the soil of the earth I kept on thinking about Creed and what he had done today. The whole trance couldn't seem to leave my mind. The fact that I couldn't accept Creed as my mate got Avila more angry as she began to run even wild. It was for her own good, I couldn't push my years of labor down the drain.
