As soon as I escaped the walls of the court, I took a deep breath and doubled my speed.

I felt a sudden surge of determination to find Ashley. I saw this as an opportunity to fix things between Ashley and me and I was not about to let it waste. I left my car in the park.

I decided I stead to use the forest path to the palace. I wasn't sure what I would encounter on the road with lots of human rules and their stupid traffic. My wolf was panting heavily with anticipation.

I knew he was in support of what I was about to do.

The distance I felt between Ashley and me was making me feel lost. Every moment, my wolf reached for her. I always felt her wolf jump toward mine, too, whenever we were in close proximity. I had not said a word to her since that time I asked her to go to her room. Then after hearing from Axel, it just made everything worse.

Ashley deserved better. I knew it was time to throw the hurt aside and speak to Ashley properly.
