“You know, every time you smile like that, it just causes my head to spin.”

Brody's words caused me to smile even more. His eyes held so much sincerity that I had no choice but to believe him, “really?”

“I wouldn't lie to you, Ashley. It's pointless to do so.”

“I had no idea my smile had such an effect on you,” I was beginning to enjoy the moment.

When Brody attacked me for caring about what Axel would say, I felt mixed emotions. I wasn't sure if I should feel bad or feel pity for him. I didn't think he would react like that. I just spoke exactly what was in my head.

But truly I was insensitive. I was supposed to be more concerned about the situation on ground than what Axel would say. I mean, we had magically lost our phones. I racked my brain several times, I was sure I came into the locker room with my phone.
