I was grateful for the quiet in the palace when I walked in. After bothering my head about what Axel and Carson would say, I walked in to find the living room empty. I heaved a sigh of relief and hurried to my room.

I was tired of being the cause of their recent arguments. They seemed to quarrel a lot lately and most times, it just had something to do with me. It all began when Axel and I spent the night alone in a hotel. They had such a heated argument that I was worried it would result in a fistfight.

But thankfully it didn't. However, I felt the heat. Eating together even became a struggle. Breakfast became an avenue for clashing wolves to eye each other with raw anger. I had even considered skipping family meals. I just wanted to eat alone, in my room, and enjoy some quiet.
