CARSON

I stared at Axel in shock. Did he just suggest that we kill Ashley? What the fuch was that? Anger rushed through my veins, causing my heart to burn. I clenched my fist to keep it down, but I couldn't.

In a split second, I grabbed him by the collar and shoved him in the opposite direction. He staggered and hit his back against a pole. He winced and I could tell an excruciating pain ran through his spine. He stood upright and gave him a dark look.

But of course, my eyes were not friendly either.

“How dare you!” I barked, moving close to him.

“Really? Was that even necessary?” he asked with a frown.

“The next time you make such an unforgivable statement, we are going to fight it out,” I told him.

He looked at me with shock, “all this because of Ashley?”

“I think you went too far, Axel. Why would you suggest killing Ashley? How is any of this her fault?” Brody asked.

“It was just a bloody suggestion! It's already looking like we have to trade what we have to get her marked.
