And all Alpha Drake armies who were present there also saw how everything was going, and they felt sad immediately for their Alpha. Because they knew he wouldn't want to fight his mate's father even though he was the one that killed his family. They also stopped fighting immediately and went straight to their Alpha, who was still very angry at what had just happened.

  

  Alpha Drake couldn't even look up at his mate anymore. He actually thought his mate would actually make him happy, after he had gotten justice for his family but now it was the other way round. His mate was the daughter of his parents' killer which was actually so painful for him to even think about right now. His armies came to him and they all started walking away. While Valerie tried to carry her father up from the ground.

  

  

  Alpha Drake and his armies returned to their pack.  But Alpha Drake armies refused to go over to their various ways, because they knew how much their Alpha needed some comfort right now, so they followed Alpha Drake until he finally got to his house. Without wasting much time, Alpha Drake went into his house and headed straight to his chamber. He was so sad beyond comparison as he thought of what had just happened throughout the night. How can the moon goddess decide to give him his family's killer daughter as his mate? All this while he was hoping to find happiness again after he has avenged his family but now this happened. What was he going to do right now since this has happened? He thought.  He cursed the moon goddess and with the thought of all of this he went to bed.

  

  Soon it was morning and he was up, but immediately his eyes opened. All that had happened came back into his mind and he started feeling so very bad all over again. How was he going to cope with such a mate? And why would the moon goddess ever think of mating him with that kind of cruel man's daughter? He kept asking himself those questions. But he can't simply answer the question by himself. He would need someone to help him answer the question, but who would be able to answer such a question? He thought and sighed heavily before he slowly climbed down from his bed. He yawned and stretched himself before walking into his bathroom.

  

  He just couldn't stop thinking about the whole thing. What was he going to do now, should he just forget about having a mate totally and go back to the Blue valley pack and kill his mate alongside her family too, as they didn't to his own family or what? 

  

  

  Meanwhile, Valerie and her family were all seated together in their house. Valerie was with them before in the sitting room but decided to leave her chamber. None of them had any sleep last night because they were all still frightened that Alpha Drake and his armies would come back for them again. But actually, Alpha Callan wasn't too scared anymore, since he knew that Alpha Drake had known that he was a mate to Valarie and he was sure that he wouldn't kill his mate's family. That was why he released him immediately. He knew he was Valarie's father.

  

  

  For sure, he knows that the Alpha Drake family wasn't the cruel type of people. He knew his family so well, especially his father, and he knew what they were capable of. He knows them to be strong but they are weak in heart, so he was less worried about Alpha Drake coming to kill him and his family as long as Valerie was there. He actually knew that day would come and he was already prepared for it. He was just waiting for it to happen just as he had planned, so now he would just sit back and wait for Drake to come back for his mate.

  

  

  He has actually been trying all he could to get to Drake all these years, but now  was the best time. Alpha Callan was actually sitting with his wife on the same couch while Eric had also left for his chamber, as soon as Valarie left for hers.

  

  "Alpha, what is your plan now? Do you think he will just let it slide because Valarie is his mate or will he come back to hunt us down?" Luna Fae asked.

  

  "I think he would let it slide." Alpha Callan answered.

  

  "Why are you so sure? Please, I don't want any harm to come to us and our son."  She said,

  

  "You don't have to worry about that, trust me, he will definitely be weak-hearted just like his father," Alpha Callan assured her.

  

  " OK, I hope so, because if anything happens to our son, I will never forgive you." Luna Fae said,

  

  "You don't need to get your all walked up, we have his mate here with us and she is fully on our side, so we need not to worry about anything." Alpha Callan assured his wife.

  

  " OK, I hope so, but don't you think we should go and freshen up now? Besides, we have been here since last night." Luna Fae said,

  

  "Yes, I think that's a good idea, we should probably do that now." Alpha Callan replied, and tried to stand up on his feet but fell back on the couch, all the places that Alpha Drake had injured him were still hurting him so badly.

"Oh my goodness, I'm sorry, I totally forgot to nurse your injuries by just waiting here, I will go and get the first aid kit." Luna Fae said, as she stood up immediately, and rushed over to the bedroom to get the first aid kit. She was actually still angry within her that Valerie didn't bother to treat her husband's wound since the previous night, but nevertheless she was going to deal with her later, but right now she needs to get her husband treated first. She thought as she snatched the first aid kit and rushed out of the room.

  

  Valarie was seated in her bed after having her bath, she was now dressed in a different clothes. She recalled all that had happened yesterday. She couldn't believe she was a mate to a brutal Alpha like that. She has always hoped that her mate would be gentle and kind and not a brutal and cruel Alpha like the one she had met last night. There is no doubt that her mate was handsome and hot with the body of a Greek god, which she noticed even in that situation that she was in last night, but she could never accept such a brutal person as her mate. She wished the moon goddess would change that mate because she would never want to be anywhere close to him, because all she could see of him was a monster and nothing more. She would have to advise her parents that they should run away before he came back again, because he might likely return to kill them. She got up from her bed immediately and quickly went out of her room. She went into the sitting room in search of her parents, and she saw her mother applying some treatment for her father, and she hit her head softly realising she would have done that the previous day, and by now her father would be healed. She actually knows that since it was actually Luna Fae who was there applying the treatment for Alpha Callan, she would definitely not be happy right now, and that just wasn't the best time for her to bring her suggestion but she just has to summon some courage and go over to them. She knew there was no time and Alpha Drake could return back to the pack any moment, so she just couldn't risk that.

  

  

  She sighed heavily as she finally went closer to them. "Let me help you with that." Valerie offered to help immediately as she stood closer to them.

"There is no need for that, I'm done already." Luna Fae told her.

"Oh ok then." Valarie sighed.

"You can leave, I don't need you here for anything else." Luna Fae said, rudely to her, but she didn't take it to heart because she already knows how Luna Fae could be when she is angry.

"I know mum, but I came here because I have a suggestion that I would like to talk to dad about." Valerie said,

"What suggestions can you have?" Luna Fae asked.

"Please don't do this right now Fae." Alpha Callan told his wife, before turning over to Valarie. "What is it,go ahead and say it." Alpha Callan urged her, and Luna Fae frowned as she took up the first aid kit and went away.

"Dad, I think we should flee, before that brutal Alpha returns to finish up what he has started." Valarie told him.

"No, I don't think that's a good idea." Alpha Callan said,

"Why not, he is so young and strong, and he can really return to kill us all." Valerie told him her fears.

"You don't need to worry about that dear, he is your mate and believe me, no one will want to kill his mate or his mate's family." Alpha Callan said,

"But dad." Valerie was saying but Alpha Callan stopped her.

"No but ok, I know what I'm saying." Alpha Callan said,

"Ok,if you say so." Valerie sighed softly, and just as Luna Fae walked back into the sitting room.

Alpha Callan, has his own plans, and he wasn't really afraid of Alpha Drake coming back to his pack again, so he has not to worry about right now.
