Chapter 4

LIAM AND GUSTING are happy while fishing. The two immediately became intimate. Their fishing was good. They caught many fishes so they decided to go home because it was going to be noon.

"Toto Liam, You know how happy I am now? You're probably lucky, I used to catch less than half before but now it's too much, Amie must be happy too when she sees that we are a lot of catch."

"Of course. I just only helped you. Maybe you didn't pull the net well so there is a lot of fish that escaped."

“Ah, that's it. I'm getting older. It's good because I have an assistant now. Thank you."

"Nothing."

Gusting's boat docked quickly. When Amore saw them, she immediately approached. She was carrying two towels.

She gave one to her uncle and the other one she used to wipe Liam's face. What another trick Amore think of. The man did not object and just agreed.

"Honey, are you tired?"

"I'm fine honey. Here ohh, we caught a lot of fish, see!"

“Wow, that’s a lot,” she agrees.

"Uncle Gusting, are you tired too? Come on and I've prepared a delicious lunch. You two will like it."

"Wow, that's great Amie. Your husband will go with you first. I'll sell half of it first and then take home half for you to be cook for tomorrow."

"All right, we'll go first. Be careful uncle."

Amore grabbed Liam by her arm. They're sweet to look at together. But it would have been better if it was true and not a show only.

"Hey Am, do you need to hold my arm? I think it's too much?"

"Yeah...we need to do it so they will believe us and everyone who sees us here. You know, anytime someone will notice and suspect us. Isn't that good? Don't argue, just act like everything is real. What we're doing is like in the movies, aren't we? We're both the stars so just act hard so as not to ruin the momentum of the drama."

They will meet some people. It was all staring at the two of them.

"Good afternoon," Amore greeted the people they would meet.

"Good afternoon to you too Amie, is this your husband with you? He's handsome!"

"Ah. Yes, my husband. His name is Yam," Amore said then held the man's waist. Liam put his arm around her and they looked really sweet to each other.

"Ah. Is that so. You're a really good couple  A, mie. All right we'll go first. Ba bye."

"All right."

Amore still didn't let go of Liam's waist until they reached the front of their house. They just separated after entering the house.

"Honey, sit there in the chair and I'll prepare you something to eat. I know you're really hungry. How's the fishing? Hmm. I think it's hard. If I'm with you, you must go back to where you came from, your job will be easy there." She said seriously. "Oh, here. It is delicious? I cooked that so I hope you like it." She gives him food.

"Amie, come here first," her uncle called her. "Just a minute," she replied. "All right. Eat well, I'll go with my uncle. You eat first."

Instead of eating Liam stood up and accompanied her to his uncle.

"Why?"

"Did you go to town in the morning? Oh, please help me wash the first hen put it in the freezer. I'm hungry, I'll eat first." Gusting said.

"All right." She replied. "Tsk. Uncle will be annoying. He asks for help but we'll only go do it."

"Don't complain, come on. It's just fast because there are only a few fish left."

"All right, honey," she said with a smile.

"Can I call you Am?  Please stop calling me honey if we're just the two of us together, it's weird," he said.

“Hmm, you know Liam I'm just training myself especially in calling you that. Don't worry, I talked to my doctor friend Dindo earlier, he is also working on a way for me to return to Manila immediately. Three months will do, don't be bored with pretending. You want to come with me here so you need to suffer."

"Okay. It's finished. Come on, I'm so hungry. So please stop scolding me, okay?"

"Fine."

The two entered the house and ate. Liam was very fun at food, Amore proved his cooking skills. She could even be chief.

"I like this food. Delicious!" Liam said while sipping food. "You know Am, my favorite is fried chicken. It's a good thing you thought of cooking us like this. Hmm. By the way, what else did you do in town other than going to the market?"

"Well, I bought two cellphones, I'll give you one later. It's good that you have something to use. I also bought a lot of SIM cards. In case someone traces up to my number, I'll stop immediately and I have a new extra. Tomorrow, I'll call  again to Dindo for an update on our plans."

"Really? Wow, thanks. Thank you for the good food and the new cellphone."

"No problem, so just act hard. Oh, here it is. Eat more. Then later I'll go boating, I want to go for a walk again in my old tambayan. Maybe you saw the small island earlier, maybe a kilometer away from here. It’s nice there, so I’ll go there later. Maybe I'll bring a tent because I might spend the night there. I'm just asking! Will you be there? If you don't want to, it's okay too."

"Yeah. I saw it...I was curious earlier about that small island. Your uncle told me that already. You seem to go there a lot whenever you go on vacation here."

"Yes, I want to stay there. The next day, I'm going to talk to the manager of the islands here that I'm going to buy that. I want to get into that. Other than that it's beautiful, it's beautiful to build a castle in there. And I am the princess who lives there. Isn't it fun?"

"Wow. Your plan is great. Do you want to be a princess? It's like only children dream of things like that."

"Tsk. You don't care, I still remember what Lysander told me that one day he will make me his princess and he will be my prince. He wanted us to build a castle that the two of us could live in with our two future children. Isn’t that unique?" She said happily. "But, how come? I haven't even seen him since he left me until now. Will that time ever come, Yam? When will we meet again?" Her face becomes gloomy after remembering Lysander.

"Yeah. It was Lysander who d everything. I don't know if he'll come or not come back. The decision is up to you if you still hope that one day he will come back. Follow what your heart tells you."

"I believe he'll be back. In case he comes back I'll introduce you to him. I hope you'll get along then."

"Hopefully, I'm done eating."

Liam groaned several times from overeating.

"Here's what will be your new cellphone with that sim card and it was already loaded. Just use it with the right and trustworthy person. Don't tell someone where you are when someone asks. Is it okay?"

"Is there a signal here? I need to contact my friend to send me some money. I need money so that I can use it for my plans after three months. You are not the only one with a plan. I also have a plan in mind. If it's hard to fight my brother I will still try to bring him down."

"Hmm. Don't do it. I'll take care of him. You can't even tear him apart. Somehow he is still your brother. It must be painful for you to fight him. Especially since you only have the same blood."

"So what now? I'd better take revenge on him. He can't kill me because I'm his brother."

"That's where you're wrong. He doesn't sanctify anyone and he doesn't recognize anyone as blood or relative if he kills anyone. You better don't do it. If you don't want to go away. Just be here. Help my uncle here. Can you promise me?"

“Okay. I will. I don't want to argue with you anymore. I'm at a loss so maybe we should go there to that island. I hope you name it when it's yours. Won't you buy it the next day?"

"I don't know. I can't think of anything to be named there. Maybe not now as long as one day I just want my prince to be on that island."

"Tsk. You're a prince. Prince, my foot! I hope he doesn't come back to you." He teases Amore.

"What? Are you joking with me? Come here and you'll go to test my revenge."

The two raced on the sand. They are like children playing from a distance, Gusting was watching. It was fun while watching the two.

Unexpectedly, Amore tripped and almost fell on the sand. Fortunately, Liam caught her right away. For a moment they remained in position, they stared and suddenly they freeze at each other as their eyes met. It was as if a strange feeling had formed between them.

"Ahem. Wow. You two are thrilled ha. Hmm. That's really how it was in the first year of marriage, at first it was sweet, the wife didn't even want to be bitten by mosquitoes and flies but in the end, she was stoned in various ways and the wife was punched and kicked. It's so sad. I hope it doesn't happen to you."

Liam suddenly released Amore so she fell to the ground.

"Ouch. Why did you release me? Get ready for me! I will not forgive you later. You really can see!"

"Oh my gosh. That's enough. Don't fight anymore. Come home." Gusting called them.

"Uncle, I'm leaving. I want to go to the island. There on the hidden island. I want to cool my brain. I'm disgusted with what my husband did."

"Hey. What are you saying? That's just a simple thing. Don't go there. If you're not going to take your husband with you. It's five o'clock in the afternoon and it's getting late. So take him with you it would be better for you to be there together so that you can discuss your quarrels well. OMG"

"But uncle..."

"No but-but, "Gusting said angrily. "Yam, go with your wife. You will fix the fight between you two. Don't go home when you are still feeling bad for each other. Can you?"

"All right. I'll go with her. Don't worry.  Well, be all right. We're leaving. Because she already prepared what she's going to bring. All right uncle. Be careful in here. How's about your fishing tomorrow? We'll bring your boat?"

"I'm off. I'll just cook tomorrow. I'll start in the cafeteria. I just want you two to be fine when you come home. Be careful!" Mang Gusting said.

He caught up with Amore on the beach. It didn't spill, maybe the woman was mad at him. Angry at the first thing he said or because she fell on the sand.

He paddled to the small island. Amore was still speechless. Liam was the only one who carried all the things they had brought.

When they get there, the sun is about to set. From his bag, he took out his cellphone and took a picture. It's nice to see the sunset. And it is better than every time you look forward to it you are with the person you love.

Amore also took out her cellphone and took a picture. She used to take pictures of it. If she hadn't just left his camera she wouldn't have used it. She loves the scenery and she loves photography.

She has a lot to do with her life. There she was being taught by his father. That she should never oppress others.

She picked up the tent and began to assemble. Liam helped her.

"Am, I am sorry. What is my fault?"

"No. Nevermind"

They never spoke again. They just let their actions and eyes speak. Liam ignored her. After they had pitched the tent they parted one by one. Liam prefers to just make a hammock where to rest later.

He just saw that Amore was in the water and happy paddling. It's like a child running along the sandy beach. He just watched the woman and had no plans to go to her. He sat down at the root of the tree that was there. He smiled unconsciously.

"Come here, take a bath with me. The water Liam was good. Hurry up. When you take a bath with me I won't be angry with you anymore. Promise, "Amore shouted at him.

Without hesitation, he went to the woman's place.

"Are you sure honey?"

"Huh!? What did you say?" Amore said in shock. Liam called him 'honey' in his sweet baritone voice making her heart went oops at her shocks.

"Nothing. I'm just trying to practice for the next time I call you it's convincing when I act. Didn't you say we are the main characters in this story, so acting should be good to persuade the audience," Liam said with a smile.

"You're incredibly crazy! Let's go deeper!" Amore said and swim at the deepest portion of the water.
