CHAPTER 5

It was very private and isolated from everyone,Sage can smell the fresh clean air of the ocean maybe she can sneak away from the guests and go and enjoy the warm night out at the water a few minutes won't hurt it's not like anyone will notice she's gone.The car slowed down and Sage saw big wrought iron gates open,slowly Luca drove up the driveway,the grass was neatly trimmed and so green tall trees was all around the house soon came into view and it was beautiful,Luca parked the car in the driveway along side ten other cars.What have I put myself in for Sage thought as she climbed out and took in the house,the place is completely secure all around as they walked up the steps her cell rang she saw it was Gina.

"I'll join you shortly."She told them and walked back out to the driveway.

"Everything okay?"Kim asked,Sage paused.

"Yes.It's Gina."

"Tell her I said hi."Kim said,Sage nodded,when they were gone she answered.

"Calling so late,I hope nothing is wrong."Sage said when she answered.

"Are you asleep?"

"No,I'm with Kim at a dinner party she said I should greet you."Sage walked a short distance down the driveway she's surprised she is still walking upright in these shoes.

"Well have fun on my behalf too.I have great news and had to share it with you."

Sage think she knows what it was."Sean proposed."

"You knew about it!"She said in disbelief."And you didn't tell me."

Sage smiled as if Gina was with her."If I did then it wouldn't have been a surprise."

"Sage I'm so happy,I can't wait to show you my ring."

"I can't wait to see it and I'm happy for you two I'm actually shocked Sean waited this long because he's been wanting to ask you for months."

"You know how shy your brother is."Sage laughed."Let me not keep you send my regards to Kim and Casey we have some catching up to do."

"We sure do.Where is Sean?"

"Shower.He's taking me out to celebrate."

"Congratulations Gina and enjoy your night."

"I intend to.We'll talk soon.Bye-bye."Sage smiled and put her cell back in the purse,a car hooting frighten her that she dropped her purse and cell, everything else in the purse fell out too,she completely forgot that she was standing in the driveway,kneeling down she began to pick up everything a second later she heard a car door open and shut.

The driver will probably give her an earful for standing in the middle of the driveway,neatly polished leather shoes stopped in front of her.Just great she thought it's a man.Sage quickly picked up everything and stood,without looking up she put her stuff back her hair was framing her face so she couldn't see who the person was.

"I'm so sorry."She began without looking up."I was busy on my cell and completely forgo-...."Her voice trailed off when she looked up to face whoever it was.Sage went numb with shock,it couldn't be she thought as all the air left her lungs,time seem to froze as she looked at the man she never thought would cross her path.Her mystery man.Liam and Logan's father.

Sage could do nothing but stare words failed her,even if she did have something to say her lips wouldn't move it refused to.Oh gosh for these past months she's only seen him in her dreams,thoughts of his handsome face would haunt her...and now here he was standing before her looking so sexy in his dark jeans,white shirt black dinner jacket,his thick jet black hair neatly combed back,with his clean shaven jaw.

His cologne surrounded her making her feel giddy,weak, she could feel herself sway into him.Her body felt hot,her skin was burning for him,for his hands to be all over her.Sage was stunned at her body's response to him after all this time,immediately she took a step back not able to believe he could make her feel this way,could make her want him without him having to do anything.Without a word she turned and fled inside the house.

Bruno stood in the middle of the driveway he was stunned speechless,his first instinct is to run after her but she has already disappeared into the house and his car was standing in the middle of the driveway.What was she doing here? He never thought he would ever see her again after their night together.Brown eyes.

Man she was beautiful,he'd seen it that first night but now she's more breathtaking than ever,it's clear she still remembers him the shocked look in her eyes had said it all and the way she ran off spoke volumes.Women usually run towards him not away from him.What is she doing here at Hugo and Maya's dinner party.Do they know her.Is she here alone?

Was she married the thought left a bitter unwanted taste in his mouth that didn't sit well.He doesn't know the woman so he shouldn't be feeling the way he is,but his body does those few minutes in her presence made him aware it's been days last since he got laid.And suddenly he wanted no one except for her,to hold and feel her under him,to thread his fingers through her rich thick dark auburn hair that looks like it has shades of orange in it,to taste the sweetness of fair skin.

He has been watching her for over an hour now from a distance,watched how multiple men had approached her talked to her,it made him angry he wants to punch every one of them and he can see how the rest are still lingering to go to her.It's clear as daylight they are lusting after her,and to know what's going through their minds makes him want to take out their eyes.Dios!What's wrong with him,why is he acting this way.

Sage always ignored them because she didn't know who they were talking about but now she does and she can understand why they tripping over their own feet for him,and is ready to be taken by the man.He was incredibly handsome with his dark olive skin tone,

everything about him is oozing masculinity and sex appeal one cannot help but be drawn to him,her own body had betrayed her outside two hours ago by swaying into him.

What is it about the man his cologne only has her hormones playing havoc on her, never before has she been so aware of a man,and never before has she wanted a man to claim her like she does him.She's made sure to avoid him so far because she doesn't trust herself to be close to him,he has her so worked up that she hardly took in her surroundings and it's such a beautiful house with it's high ceilings and double french glass doors they were standing and socializing in the great room from the looks of it it's the only room big enough to accommodate everyone,dinner will be served soon then afterwards they'll head out to enjoy the night air Sage doesn't think she'll stay that long,all she wanted was to go home and be alone.

Seeing him again has brought on all new mixed emotions and then there's the boys she doesn't even know if she should tell him or not.Will he accept her babies?Oh God what am I gonna do.To make matters worse Sage has met his twin brother and wife the two of them resemble one another except his brother's skin tone is light with dark brown hair their eyes are the same, when she'd seen them standing next to each other Liam and Logan's tiny faces appeared before her,she finally knows who their father is a wealthy successful bachelor and playboy she added a man who probably has no idea about babies at all,it also seems twins run in this family they are twins,their cousins are twins now his brother's wife is expecting twin daughters then there's her twin boys.

Will she lose her babies?The thought is frightening and worrisome.When dinner got served she barely touched her food her stomach is in tight knots,she needed to leave here she can feel Bruno's eyes on her,she'd heard his girlfriend call him that and Luca too.Bruno she mulled the name over in her head it suited him.Bruno Romero.
