CHAPTER 6

When they all retreated outside Sage stopped Kim and pulled her aside."Would you mind if I leave you alone.I have a headache that refuses to go away."She lied.

"No of course not.How will you get home."

"I already called a taxi it's on it's way."

"Okay.Call me when you get home so I can know you safe."Sage nodded and gave her a hug.

"Have fun."She said,Kim grabbed her wrist.

"Where's your bracelet?"Sage looked at her wrist and saw it was missing.When did it fall off and how come she didn't realise it was gone.

"I-I don't know."She whispered,thinking where she could've lost it.

"Well I'll ask if anyone hasn't seen it."

"Thanks.I didn't even feel it fall off."Her thoughts going back to when her purse had fallen out of her hand could it have fallen off outside if so then someone must've driven over it,she'll look now when she goes out."See you tomorrow."She searched where she'd dropped her purse but couldn't find anything,her feet are killing her she cannot wait to get her feet out of these shoes and wear something comfortable.Giving a deep sigh she gave up it could've fallen off anywhere and where will she look.

"Looking for this?"She heard his deep voice say from behind her,Sage whole body became aware of him, goosebumps broke out over her skin and shot down her spine slowly she turned to face him and saw he was holding her bangle in his hand."Brown eyes."He drawled slowly,Sage's body responded to his words he called her that when they made love."May I know your name."

No was her first thought.You can't."Alison."She lied,he studied her for a long while dark grey eyes searched her own,she knows he doesn't believe her.

"Bruno."He said extending his hand."Bruno Romero."Sage knows the polite thing to do would be to shake his hand but she couldn't the last time he'd touched her she had ended up naked in his hotel room, something happens whenever he touches her and if he can touch her now lord knows where they might end up again,he withdrew his hand when she didn't shake it."I believe you have something that belongs to me."His gaze fell on the necklace,Sage decided to play dumb.

"Do I."She said."I wasn't aware."

A slow smile spread across his face,a sexy grin that turned her insides mushy. "I'd like to take you out to dinner."He said stunning her.He wants to have dinner with her,did she hear him right,she mustn't have.

"Dinner."She croaked."I can't,I'm busy."

"When won't you be busy."

"I don't know,my schedule is pretty tight."She grabbed her bracelet out of his hand."Look Mr Romero I don't mean to be rude but I really have to go."

He came to block her way."We way past formalities.Don't you think."

"No,I don't know you."She has to get out of here now.

He smiled."Are you sure."He asked taking a step closer,she took one back.

She wasn't sure of anything at this moment,her cell rang the cab she called was here."I really must go."She said again and stalked past him,Sage walked so fast as if her life depended on it the fact that she was wearing heels didn't matter,she'll only be able to breathe easy when she was safely in the cab on her way home.Letting go of the deep breath she'd been holding Sage shut her eyes and laid her head back against the seat.

"Where to ma'am."The driver asked.Sage who was so lost in her own thoughts never did hear the driver speak or when he climbed out.Only when they didn't move did she open her eyes to see what's going on,she gasped when she saw Bruno sitting next to her in the back she looked at the front the driver was no where to be seen.

His close proximity made her feel dizzy,he was so tall and broad that the cab felt small,they sitting next to each other breathing in the same air.Her heart was beating so fast she feared it might jump out of her chest,she shifted but forgot there was no more room left,he moved closer,too close,she held her breath.

"What are you doing?"Why does her voice have to quiver so much."Where is the driver?"

"This cab will only move from here until we are done talking."

"Mr Romero.What could we possibly have to say to one another,we hardly know each other."

"I think you and I have alot to discuss especially why my presence affects you so much."

"Why would your presence affect me.I don't even know you."

"You keep on saying that yet your body doesn't agree with you."Sage could feel her nipples tightening a familiar current rushed through her,awakening her desires,he leaned closer to breathe in her scent,she shut her eyes to block him out it was of no use,she became even more aware of him and what he was evoking deep within her,she could feel herself ache for him and whatever else he can do to her."Your skin doesn't agree."He hissed close to her ear,Sage's whole body trembled,that low throb in her core came to life,she was burning for him,her body was on fire.

One hand came to rest on her back,his warm hand burned her bare skin,the other came up to brush her cheek before going into her hair she was breathing heavily,Sage clutched her purse tightly in her hands if she can touch him,all rational thoughts will disappear and she'll end up naked on the back seat with him buried deep inside her.

Feather light fingers trailed down her neck,her breath caught,his face was inches away from hers,he was gonna kiss her she can see it in his eyes and if he does that.. Sage doesn't want to picture what will follow next.Slowly his head descend towards hers Sage's breathing became erratic her pulse was beating fast with each inch his head comes closer.

"Bruno."She breathed."What are you doing?"

"I don't know."He whispered."All I do know is I have to kiss you."Sage was lost the second his lips touched hers,the firm pressure of his mouth on her own felt so good,so right.He didn't rush,the kiss was slow,gentle,he tasted the inside of her mouth Sage allowed him to explore her, allowed his tongue entry to take whatever she has to give,when and how her hands had slipped into his hair she doesn't know,she needed him,needed to be close to him,needed to feel him to touch him.

She went when he pulled her closer,his hand moved down her back leaving a trail of heat along the way,the intensity of the kiss changed his mouth plundered her lips,it urgently slashed across hers their mouths opened wider deepening the kiss,seeking more Sage held on as wave after wave of electric currents spiralled through her body,before it settled low between her thighs creating a pool of moistness.

Bruno could feel his control slipping he's on the verge of losing his mind and self control,how can kissing her bring about this strong need,never before has a woman made his blood rush with adrenaline,it's intense.He wanted her again and badly,the fact that he doesn't have any condoms didn't matter,he needed to be inside her,feel her slick wetness.

Every part of her responded to him,a small part was telling him to stop before he was gonna make the mistake of stripping her naked and planting his seed deep inside of her,the last thing he needs is to make her pregnant.She's so responsive it drives him wild she was even more delicious than he remembers,and now more than ever he wanted to claim her,brand her as his own,one night won't be enough this mind blowing kiss says it all.

He ravaged her mouth in a fierce kiss before letting them come up for air to breathe,they both were gasping and breathing harshly he buried his face in her throat,taking in her scent."No."He groaned deeply."Not like this.Not here."His lips came to brush hers again."I want you naked in my bed with your hair loose like this,spread out on my pillow."

She wants that too but they can't.They are worlds apart.It's impossible for them to be together."No."She murmured."I can't."She moved away from him not that it helped she can still feel him."I don't want you."

"Don't you."He dared pulling her into his arms again,she found herself straddling his muscular thighs."Should I prove you wrong."She jerked when she felt his erection, out of their own volition her hips buck forward,pressing down on his length needing to feel that contact again,the knowing grin on his face angered her.Not because he can prove her wrong but because he was right she does want him and when that time comes he will have her naked wherever he wants her.
