Once again

As she(Christiana) walked into the café, she immediately spotted them sitting at a table in the corner - her ex-husband and his friend. Her heart sank as she saw the way they were laughing and joking with each other, the easy familiarity between them that came with years of friendship. She tried to shake off the feeling of jealousy that was creeping up inside her, but it was hard.

She had always known that her ex-husband had a lot of female friends, but this one was different. There was something about the way she looked at him, the way she touched his arm when she laughed at his jokes, that made her feel uneasy. It was clear that this woman liked him, and that made her jealous.

She took a deep breath and walked over to their table, trying to put on a smile that she hoped looked genuine. "Hi," she said, trying to sound cheerful. "How are you guys doing?"
