Chapter 4: Nanny

I followed the woman's instructions to Panther's location. She led me to a secret office, and when I opened the door, I saw the child's tearful face. I felt terrible because Suzanne had abandoned such a cute child. It ran towards me and I gladly carried him.

"Please don't leave me, Mama." He cried between weak sobs.

Because he was pleading, what he said made my heart feel squeezed. My tears flowed freely as a result of my sympathy for him. I approached a sofa and sat her on my lap. I even stroked his damp cheek.

"Of course I won't leave you; we'll always be together," I answered, even though I knew it wouldn't happen.

He stopped crying and looked at me with a sparkle and joy in his eyes.

"Promise?"

I gave him a nod before kissing him on the cheek. But we laughed because his stomach rumbled unexpectedly, and he blushed as he bent down because I heard it.

Suddenly, the woman from earlier, whom I believe to be his nanny, entered with fast food. I was startled because the contents of the paper bag he was holding were burgers, fries, and chicken.

"It's time for lunch." She stated.

"Please excuse me. Is that his meal?" I couldn't help myself from wondering.

She gave me a cold look, and I could see her displeasure because I asked. She drew Panther to me, which surprised me because the boy had been hurt by what she had done.

"But I want real food," Panther grumbled.

His nanny became enraged and grabbed a stick, which surprised me because she hit Panther on the arm.

"You selfish child! You should be grateful because I even brought you some food! I'm not sure why your father tolerates you; you're worthless!" She yelled at Panther.

My body moved unexpectedly and slapped her, causing her to fall. When she looked at me, her eyes were still glaring at me, but I just kicked her.

"You have no right to inflict harm on the child!" In a mocking tone, I yelled at her.

"Who are you to get involved in our fight?"

"Don't fight, Mama..." Panther intervened because I was about to strike his nanny again.

"M-Mama? Are you that desperate for Zeus' attention? I've been here a long time, and he's completely mine!"

The truth has emerged that this girl harbors a secret crush on that demon. Panther took out his cell phone, pressed it, and turned to face his nanny. His nanny flushed, especially when the man you don't want to irritate spoke.

"F*ck! Prepare for my arrival later! I'm going to kill you!" On the other end of the line, Zeus yelled.

I didn't even pay attention to his nanny when she began pleading with us. Before loading Panther and leaving the office, I stomped on her. We came across Luke, who was still the same as before. He's simply quiet.

"Is there a kitchen here?" I inquired of him.

"Why? What are your plans for the kitchen?"

"I'll make dinner."

He simply nodded and walked ahead of me until we arrived at the kitchen.
