Chapter 79

Soma’s POV

I quickly got out of bed and went to the window. I knew taking a chance and running was a bad idea, but I couldn’t take a chance. I opened the window and looked down, it was colder than it was before, but I had to take the chance. I wasn't sure if King Gideon was expecting this again, but I couldn’t just sit here and wait for them to make a decision that I couldn’t get out of.

Climbing out the window, I made it to ground level before I felt a pair of hands grab me from behind, I screamed.

“You are either stupid or thinking I wasn't expecting you to do this,” he said pulling me closer. “I left your room as a test, I came here,” he whispered in my ear. “Come on let’s go back to your room,” he said pulling me away from the darkness and back into the castle.

“I don’t belong here.” I snapped at him. “I wish you would just let me go!”

“Can't do that Princess,” he said forcing me up the stairs and back into my room. He walked over to the window and locked it.
