Soma’s POV

I was getting annoyed being with King Gideon his constant advances were pissing me off. I knew he wanted me to be his mate, but I wasn't and I wasn't going to give in to him, no matter how much he whines and complains that my place is next to him. I was going to get out of this castle one way or another.

Since the vampires haven't moved in, it was probably something King Gideon used to scare the people of the kingdom, mostly as a form of control. Pacing around my room I knew taking a chance going through the window was probably not a good idea, but running out the front door is even worse. I knew getting away from King Gideon was going to be impossible, but I needed to try.

He was getting restless and I knew he was going to force himself on me and mark me, I still wasn't sure what that meant, and if Oliver would still be my mate. I wasn't taking that chance and there was no way in hell he was going to stick his dick anywhere near me either.
