Chapter 83

Soma’s POV

Walking with Roman was hard, I didn’t want to be around him and he was putting off this energy that I didn’t like too much. I know he said he was sorry, but something about his apology wasn't right, maybe he was forced into saying it to make it easier for him to control me when King Gideon wasn't around, I wasn't sure. I still needed a plan to get out of here.

Trying to remember every corner we turned, it seemed like he was taking me in circles. I don’t know if he was but when I kept seeing the same paintings I began to wonder.

“Why are we going in circles?” I snapped at him. “Don't tell me we’re not because I’ve seen this one three times.”

“Oh well King Gideon likes that one a lot.” he mused. “Besides why would I take you in circles, King Gideon wants you next to him quickly.”

“Mhm,” I said rolling my eyes.

I knew he was lying but knew I didn’t have any say in what he wanted to do to me at least for now. Walking down a long hallway, Roman stopped and turned.
