My week was a flop. Being the CEO of this huge company was beginning to take a toll on my mental health. I discovered that my manager, the supposedly capable Matthew, was just an oaf, incapable of doing anything and not contributing anything to the company's success.

Ken brought up Matthew's failure to meet project deadlines casually, but I didn't pay attention to it until I realized that the guy lacked initiative, failed to communicate properly with the team, and showed little interest in the company's growth.

I marched to his office to give him a piece of my mind.

"Matthew, I'm very disappointed in you. You've been working in this company for three years, and yet there has been no noticeable improvement in your work. You're consistently late, you miss deadlines, you make lots of arrows, and you expect others to do your work for you. How do you explain such gross misconduct?"
