One Hundred and Nineteen

Ivan felt deeply hurt and embarrassed by Maya's actions. He knew that her rage was coming from a place of hurt, and his head bowed. He hated himself, and his thoughts desperately searched for a way to end this experience.

"Get out of my house!" she yelled, her voice echoing off the walls. "I never want to see your ugly face again!"

"My app, please listen to me," he tried to explain. "I know I hurt you, but I wasn't actively betraying you. I swear I wanted to tell you."

"Ohh," the fires of hate grew in her chest. She was beyond reason. She didn't even look at him; her gaze was fixed on some point beyond his shoulder.

"Dad, take him out of here!" she yelled at the top of her lungs. Ivan never knew that one's voice could be so loud. It was concerning to the point that some servants were eavesdropping; he could feel their presence around him.
