KiraI immediately returned the call. It rang, but no one was picking up. I didn't give up on the call, I kept calling, but the same negative result. At some point, I got tired and dropped my phone on the bed when suddenly, my phone rang again. So, I picked. On the phone…“Hello…” I said.“Yeah, what's up?” The voice asked, and it sounded familiar. That was Gerard's voice. “Gerard?” I called.“Yeah.” He responded.“Gosh, I've been worried about you. You didn't call or text me.” I sounded worried.“I'm deeply sorry. A lot happened… like I had much work at the office and I didn't even get a little time to call or text you. I'm truly sorry.” He apologized. Hearing him speak calmed me. My anxiety was all gone. It was a thing of joy when I heard his voice once again. “It's fine. I'm not angry or sad… I was only worried about you. So, how are you doing?” I asked with a calm voice, blushing, and waited for his reply. “Not bad. I'm fine.”“What about your injury? I hope you aren't missing
Derek continued to run into a lonely bushy track road with no intention of reducing the speed of his race when suddenly, a huffing wind rose up. A tinkling sound came to his ears as the rain drops reduced its pressure, now drizzling gently on the grasses and leaves, while the wind blew heavily non-stop. The sound that came from it was like the glassy clinking of a champagne flute, lilting and clear. The night sky was so clear that a person could almost see every crater. The moon, a glowing yellowy white, loomed large finally showed up in the sky, shining down on Derek and was surrounded by an ethereal glow. And millions of stars were sprinkled behind it. The moment the moonbeam had its way to Derek's skin, he lifted his head and looked at the moon as a loud, painful groan left his mouth. His shirt began to tear into pieces. Black skin and hairs began to grow on every part of his body. His painful groan increased as his chest and stomach began to grow abs, his hands, and legs became
At Scott's House… The moon was already full and already, Scott knew Derek wouldn't come back home anytime soon. Scott was still in human form. He stood from the couch and walked towards the window, slightly opened the window and peeked through. He saw the shiny moon and how the rain was now drizzling gently. Furthermore, he walked into his room and wore a short and casual shirt as he then walked out from the house, heading to a destination he alone knew about.Back inside the bush…Derek continued to leap with an aggressive run into the bush when he suddenly realized he had gone deep and now found himself inside a dark forest with different loud howling sounds coming from different sides of the forest. His red vision eyes showed him a mountain and in no time, he ran towards it and climbed on it. Standing at the top tip of the mountain and howling out so loud. After howling, he howled again for the second time and, surprisingly, multiple of Werewolves began to run towards the mount
KiraThe sound of my 7am alarm made me force my eyes open at a slow pace. I was still in pain, serious pain. I attempted to roll on my bed, but the pain I got from my injury stopped me from doing so. The pain took the sleep away from my eyes as a drop of tears dropped out from the corner of my eyes. “Ouch.” I winced in pain and forced myself to sit up, leaning my head on my bed head-rest. I shut my eyes and inhaled deeply in pain while my tears continued to drop. After last night's incident, I made use of my first aid box and treated the surface of my injury, cleaning it with cotton wool and spirit. I didn't want to go to the hospital to avoid making the matter more complicated. My idea was to go get some drugs to subside the pain and to also prevent me from being diseased. Maybe, when I'm strong enough to walk, I'll go get the drugs. I lifted my injured hand and looked at it for some time. The surface of the wound was already turning dark. The sight of it made me remember the ter
KiraHis eyes widened as he stared at my face curiously. “What happened?” He asked and immediately attempted to unbutton my shirt, so he could take a better view of my injury when suddenly, I stopped him.“Nothing is wrong. I'm fine.” I said and took his hands off my shirt.“You are bleeding…” he replied and didn't hesitate from seeing my injury. He attempted to unbutton my shirt for the second time and this time around, my effort to stop him was a waste of time.“What happened?” He asked again while unbuttoning my shirt. And the moment he was done, he pulled off my shirt from my body, now showing my bra. “Jeez!” Derek said the moment he set an eye on my hand as his jaw dropped. “It's just a wound.” I lied.“Just a wound? This is a bite. Not just an ordinary bite…” he said and stood up angrily. “What were you doing outside so late at night? Where were you last night?” He asked, as he took a step and pinched the skin in between his brows with his eyes shut in frustration. How do I
Kira“I have some work to do. I'll visit some other time.” Derek said to me and stood up from his seated position with an expressionless face. He walked out of the room, leaving just me and Gerard all alone. I sighed and stayed mute, looking at Gerard.“I don't know… but I know shit happened yesterday when I visited. I just can't explain what happened to me.” He walked towards me and stood in front of me with a face of apology. “Gerard, you tried to kill me! That's what happened!” I said hopelessly and sat on the bed. My eyes were already tearing up. “I did?” He looked shocked.“Yes, look!” I said and unbuttoned my shirt. Stretched out my injured hand and showed him. “Shit! I did this?” He asked.“Yes! You did that.” He held my hand, staring at it for some time. Confusingly, he pinched the skin in between his brows.“I honestly don't know what has been happening to me ever since that night a wolf attacked us. I think I'm losing it.” He hit his head as he then walked around the r
Scott sat in front of his PC inside his cubicle office, going through some important data, when he saw Derek walk in and heading towards his direction. The moment Derek got to Scott, he sat beside him, showing off an unhappy face. “What's the issue?” Scott asked with his face still fixed on the screen of his PC while he waited for a reply. “...” Derek was about to say something when a call suddenly distracted Scott from hearing what he had to say. On the phone… “Hello, any update!” Scott asked the caller. “The result is out. When should I expect your arrival?” The caller asked. “Right away… I'll be there.” Scott immediately ended the call and stood up. “I'm coming with you.” Derek said and stood up as well as they both walked out, heading towards the car. They informed no one before they left. It was urgent. After driving for several minutes, they finally got to the hospital where Scott once visited for an autopsy. They parked their car inside the hospital premises and then s
After Gerard was done cleaning Kira's injury, he suggested he takes her to the hospital, so she can be well treated. “Get dressed… We need to go to the hospital.” He said, and held her by the hand, attempting to lift her from her seated position, so she could walk into her dressing room.“Wait…” she said and Gerard paused. “I don't want to go to the hospital.” She declined.“You need proper treatment, so we should go.” “Don't worry, I'll be fine. The surface of my injury is drying up already. All I need now is pain relief drugs.” She said, walking towards the bed and laid on it. “Alright…” Gerard immediately rushed downstairs and gave some money to the gatekeeper, so he could buy some pain relief drugs. He instructed the gatekeeper to call him on the phone when he gets to the hospital, so he could speak to any of the available doctors.Right after that, Gerard immediately climbed upstairs to meet with Kira.“I sent the gatekeeper to go get you some drugs. You will be fine soon. D
