They Reunited

The sound of my 7am alarm made me force my eyes open at a slow pace.

I was still in pain, serious pain. I attempted to roll on my bed, but the pain I got from my injury stopped me from doing so. The pain took the sleep away from my eyes as a drop of tears dropped out from the corner of my eyes.

“Ouch.” I winced in pain and forced myself to sit up, leaning my head on my bed head-rest. I shut my eyes and inhaled deeply in pain while my tears continued to drop.

After last night's incident, I made use of my first aid box and treated the surface of my injury, cleaning it with cotton wool and spirit. I didn't want to go to the hospital to avoid making the matter more complicated. My idea was to go get some drugs to subside the pain and to also prevent me from being diseased. Maybe, when I'm strong enough to walk, I'll go get the drugs.
