Chapter 60

Layla.

After Dante left to the city, I spent the next few weeks mopping around and missing him terribly. Everything in the house reminded me of him and it was not in a good way either. I still had his scent in my room, on my pillow and sheets and I was too scared to wash it off.

Wherever I went, images of being around would flash in my mind, breaking my heart all over again. It also didn't help that Dante occasionally checked up on me, sending me messages that I was still afraid to respond. Everything was just bleary and depressing that I had to think of a way out or I could feel myself go crazy.

I started to research for my universities once again, this time around, narrowing my search to all the of the universities present in Dante's city. I found a couple that interested me, wrote their names and other basic information about them as well. That night, after dinner, I presented the list to my parent's who pored over it, furrowing their brows as they did so.
