110 The Point Of Home

Willa's POV

I didn't realize I had been staring at Taran the whole time until he turned around and met my eyes. I blamed him for my stupid staring! His speech was too manly for me to resist.

I darted my eyes off him in panic.

Taran curved his lips.

The sullen reality suddenly came back to me as he walked toward me. I almost turned and ran if I wasn't in a one-way-out cave. There were too many questions in my head, and everything happened too fast. I wasn't sure whether he lied about Nat only to save me, and though I knew they wanted to help, I wasn't sure whether they could accept my curse-like condition.

"Willa--" Taran took me by my arm and I flinched back hissing. My shoulder was still hurting after James broke it.

"I'm sorry, I--" Taran let go of me right away, backing a step. I took a step back and shook my head at Taran warningly.

Granny didn't know about Taran! She thought I was in love with Kirsch. I couldn't let granny

Can Willa please stop calling Kirsch the cold Alpha? He is anything but cold. How can she be so blind and stubborn?

I hope they start being honest with each other. All these assumptions based on lies are silly. I don't beleive that lies are the best way to protect people
