Carmen's POV

I walked towards Kai’s room with only one aim, I had to make him mine. Seeing him and Lorenzo together was hurting my feelings, I could not pretend that I did not care any longer. Lorenzo was nothing, I could not allow her to have what I wanted.

I decided to take matters into my own hands, I had been expecting Kai to come to me but it seems he was faithful to his wife. I was going to meet him and change that.

I wanted to knock on the door but decided against it, instead I walked into the room. I had gotten information that Lorenzo wasn't in the room so I had time to do whatever I wanted to do.

“Hey Kai,” I greeted him cheerfully. He looked shocked to see me but quickly masked it and gave me a tight smile. “How are you Carmen?” he asked back warily. I walked towards him with a smile pasted on my lips, Kai was blessed by the moon goddess.
