I journeyed through the Underworld, I couldn't help but think of Michael. Our relationship had been growing stronger with each passing day, and I couldn't imagine facing this challenge without him by my side.

But I knew I had to focus on the task at hand. I had to find the Pool of Renewal and restore the Source before it was too late.

I walked, the darkness seemed to press in around me. I could feel the weight of the Underworld's history bearing down on me, the countless souls who had passed through this place.

Suddenly, I heard a faint whispering in my ear. "Ruth, be careful. The spirits of the dead are not to be trifled with."

I spun around, but there was no one there. The whisper seemed to come from all around me, echoing off the walls.

I shivered, despite myself. I knew I had to keep moving.
