Ruth’s POV

He drove me to the car, we spend like twenty minutes in the car, we talked about if we were accepting each other as mate, I give him no reply, I’m not ready for another heart break.

After a little thought, I agreed to be his friend and see how things go, and he was okay with the idea.

My hair was flying all over my face, I quickly pull it all back and pack it as a bun. I look back and saw Davidson’s eyes staring into mine lustfully, this makes uncomfortable. His inner Lycan was at the edge, he stands in front of me so fast and caress my neck with his fingers, making chills go down my body. The air starts to get cold against my skin and I step back from him, making his cloudy eyes clear.

“I want to go in my room please,” I said politely, he nods and walks down to open the door.

“Do you always open the door for females?” I ask.

“No, only the ones I like,” he says truthfully.

“So, you mean you like me?” I asked.

“I thought you could how much I love and care,” he said clearly.
