Eighty Four

As we left the pack leader's office, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. We had done the right thing, but I knew that Rebecca would not take this lying down.

"Let's get out of here," Vincent said, his voice low. "We don't know what she's capable of."

I nodded in agreement, my heart racing with anticipation. We had to be careful, and had to watch our backs.

As we walked out of the building, I noticed a figure lurking in the shadows. It was one of Rebecca's loyal followers, a snarl on his face.

"Looks like we have a problem," Emily said, her voice tight.

I nodded, my senses on high alert. We had to protect ourselves, and had to be ready for anything.

Suddenly, the follower lunged at us, his teeth bared. I pushed Emily out of the way, just in time.

"Run!" I yelled, as Vincent and I fought off the attacker.

We managed to subdue him, but not before he whispered a chilling message in my ear.

"Rebecca will get you," he snarled. "She'll make you pay."

I shivered, my heart racing with
