CHAPTER TWENTY

RUTH’S POV

The next day, I gathered enough courage to visit Vincent in the clinic. This will be the last time I will be seeing him; I no longer see him as my Alpha.

I’m leaving my past behind as I hold no grudge against, I just want start a new life with king Micheal, I want to do it the right way, with a clean heart. I push the door open to his room and I find him sleeping peacefully.

I could feel he sense someone walk into the room, he opens to his eyes and smiles when he realizes it is me.

“Hey,” He tries to sit up and I help him.

I sigh and take a seat on the visitor’s chair by his bedside and ask, “how are you?”

“I just have a broken ribs and he stylishly touched my arms, not sure how I feel but I’m healing well and fast,” he explains to me, I just nod.

“I’ll be leaving with Micheal to the Lycan’s pack tomorrow,” I tell him, he looks angry and reaches to hold me by my hand and I let him.
