11 Pm

The words he said to me were just stuck in my head. Business... business...business. It seemed like that was what really mattered to me then.

I took the card out of the place where he had dropped it and read his details on it. It was not a business card but a complimentary one, his personal card.

 Travis Coles.

That was his name. It was almost noon when I finally decided to rest, sitting on one of the street benches made of cement. There were some other younger and older folks sitting there but there was an empty bench so I decided to sit, not minding anyone's concerns.

I dipped my hand into the black bag and brought out a packet of Irish potato chips Madison had put in the bag. Without minding the public attention, I started munching on it, still maintaining my composure in some way too. Damn...I was so hungry but preparing cereal right there would definitely not look so good.

While I ate, I decided to put a call through to Travis Coles. I was not so expectant but in a little bit, I hoped something would work out for me.

"Hello." I heard a female voice across the line. I scrunched my brows. A guy gave me the number of course, or did I miss the digits?

"Can I speak to the owner of this phone...Travis Coles?" I requested politely, trying to zero my mind that nothing good would come out of it.

  "Oh...and you are please?"

At that point, I was getting pissed. Maybe she was his wife? His girlfriend?

I did not know what to describe myself as, he did not even know my name. "Ugh...just...he gave me his complimentary card." I replied, grateful that I eventually found words to use.

"Oh...he is not around at the moment. Please try calling again in a few hours." The lady urged and then ended the call. Not in? Was that a business line? But it was supposed to be his personal line. Ugh..these peeps.

Angrily, I tossed the phone into the big bag. I felt the need to take a pee so I changed locations, walking around to see if I could find restrooms at any enterprise, that is if they were nice enough to let me.

Eventually I found a Cafe and the waitresses there was nice enough to let me use their restroom for a while. Her name was Sophie, I heard someone call her that. From that moment onward, her name stuck in my head. There was this thing peculiar with me right from childhood, I tended to always pay back every good done to me.

I walked out of the Cafe and just kept wandering, walking around the Beatle City that seemed like it had no end.

It was already evening then I got reminded about Travis Coles. I was reluctant about calling him so I just did not.

Apparently, there was a shade made for people to rest and all so I stopped by there also. I made myself a bowl of cornflakes and milk, fed myself to satisfaction then I sighed.

Back to reality, I needed a place to sleep that night and the night was fast approaching. I had no plan in mind and at that rate, I would end up sleeping on the streets. It was madly dangerous, security-wise and to my health. The recent nights in Beatle City were as cold as heck.

I remembered Travis Coles again and hissed quietly. Then I brought out my phone and placed a call through to him. While I had just little hope, the recipient picked up the call and I had expected a female voice but instead, what I heard was a masculine voice.

"Hello." I heard him speak, then I adjusted in my seat.

"Travis Coles?" I inquired immediately, not intending to waste my time.

"Yes, this is he. Who am I speaking to?" He asked and I let out an unnoticeable sigh of relief.

I explained who I was to him and for a while there, it seemed like he did not remember then he snapped all of a sudden.

"The frowning beauty!" He snapped. "I did not expect you to call so soon. I thought you were traveling."

"I changed my mind. I am calling as regarding the business you spoke about." I went straight to the point. "What? You are interested?" He asked, almost interrupting me. I almost rolled my eyes. The anger I had built towards Adrien was taking a huge toll on me and it seemed like everyone that came near would suffer for it, young and old.

"Yes, I am. But then, I don't know what kind of business it is yet." I pointed out.

"Oh. It can't be discussed over the phone, do you want to meet up tonight?" He requested and I held back a bit. Meet up that night? That sounded like a pervertish cliche.

I pushed the thought aside, anyway. It would be wrong of me to jump into conclusions just yet. "Sure, we can." I simply replied to him.

"I will text you the address and time then. Be prompt, I hate lateness."

I sighed deeply. Even though it was not looking like something reasonable and good, at least I was getting chances.

A text message came in shortly after the call ended. *GreenVille Club, 11 PM*

I said it. A club? That late? I scoffed at myself but instead of intending to back out, I wanted to just take the chance. Again, it's dangerous to make assumptions so let's see what he probably has for me.

I remained in the shade for a few more hours, trying to just plan something out in my head, but no matter how I tried, I was not seeing any light at the end of any tunnel.

Impatiently, I waited for time to be wiled away so I could start heading to the club. I looked up the location on the internet and saw that it was not far away from the shade I was, so a thirty minutes walk would do towards there.

If this one worked out, then I would be rest assured that I still had the backing of the moon goddess and the heavens. It would just be the starting point of my whole plan.
