Catherine pov.

I opened my eyes, shivering from the cold, and weakly placed my hands on my head. As I looked around, I realized I was not in my own room. Confused, I asked aloud, "Where the hell am I?" My memory was hazy, and I couldn't recall leaving my room and venturing into the woods.

Standing up, I observed the nearby river, trying to piece together my memories. Suddenly, I noticed my hands were drenched and looked down to see what was going on. But the sight of my bloodied hands made me scream out in terror.

The sound of my own voice echoed in the woods, and I turned around to see a pile of dead bodies behind me. I felt my heart racing, and my body shook with fear. But then, I heard a cough that brought me back to reality. One of the bodies was still alive!

I rushed over to help the man, who was coughing up blood. But as soon as he saw me, he backed away in terror, yelling, "Keep your distance from me!" I was shaken and unsure of what to do next.

Catherine pov. I found myself standing in a dark area, completely unsure of where I was. "Lux, Phillip," I called out, but all I got in return was silence. "Lora," I whispered, hoping for a response. As I looked around, I couldn't see anything. It was so dark that I couldn't even make out my own hand in front of my face. I took a deep breath and tried to focus on my senses. The air was musty and damp, and I could smell the earthy scent of soil. I couldn't see anything, but I could feel a cold breeze brushing against my skin. It made me shiver and curl up. Every time I took a step, I felt like I was still in the same place, like I wasn't moving at all. I called out again, "Hello," but no one answered. The silence made me feel even more alone and vulnerable. Suddenly, I heard a voice calling my name. "Catherine," it whispered. My heart started racing, and I felt my throat go dry. "Whoever you are, show your face," I called out, trying to sound brave. Just as I was about to give up

Lora pov. I stood up from the tube and opened my eyes. The bright sunlight hit my face, making me squint, but it didn't stop me from smiling. I looked at my reflection in the broken mirror and smiled again, relieved to see that I was back to being me. Catherine had been trying to take over for a while, but I was now in charge, and she didn't stand a chance. It was a good feeling to be in control of my own mind again. I had been screaming for someone to save me from the shadows for a long time, but all I got was silence. It was a lonely and scary place to be, but now that I was back in my body, I knew I had to make things right. I put on one of my best dresses and applied some make-up to my face. As I smiled, I realized that the Cat girl was still screaming to be let out, but I was in control now. As I walked out into the hall, I noticed that there was no servant waiting for me. I turned to look for them and saw one of the servants running towards me with a smile on her face. "Pri

Lora pov. I lay on my bed, basking in the warmth of the wonderful moment I had just shared with Phillips. The room was dimly lit, and the only sound was the gentle hum of the air conditioner. I closed my eyes and breathed in deeply, taking in the sweet scent of lavender that lingered in the air. After a few minutes, I sat up and stretched, feeling a sense of contentment wash over me. I stood up and walked over to the full-length mirror in the corner of the room. As I gazed at my reflection, I couldn't help but smirk at the sight before me. My hair was a mess, and my clothes were rumpled, but I didn't care. I was happy. Suddenly, a voice broke the silence, and my smile faded. "Don't worry, Cat; the place I'm putting you is far worse than what I'm going to do to your child." It was the voice of the woman who had taken over my body, using it as a tool for her own purposes. I felt a surge of irritation wash over me, and my eyes darted towards the table next to the mirror. There, I saw

Lux pov. As I got to know that Catherine was still alive, my heart filled with relief. She was still breathing, her soul residing within the body of the Shadow Moon Pack's princess. With a sense of urgency, I paced around my room, knowing that I needed to see her as soon as possible. As I stepped outside, the world seemed to come alive around me. The sun was shining, and the leaves on the trees rustled in the gentle breeze. The air was filled with the sweet fragrance of blooming flowers, and the sound of birds singing added to the symphony of nature. I walked over to my son, his laughter filling the air as he played with his toys. I placed a tender kiss on his forehead, my hand never leaving his hair. "Guess what, son?" I smiled, feeling his small hand wrap around my finger. "We're going to pay a visit to your mother." It was as if a weight had been lifted off my shoulders, and my heart felt lighter than it had in months. I knew that seeing Catherine would be like finding a piece

As I looked outside, I saw the moon shining bright against the dark sky, illuminating the world with a silver hue. The faint smell of burning leaves from a nearby bonfire wafted into my room, mixing with the fresh scent of rain from earlier. I put my hands in my hair and pulled it away from my eyes, trying to clear my head. "I was so close," I muttered to myself, feeling perplexed and defeated. As I approached my mirror, I noticed my reflection staring back at me, looking disheveled and exhausted. "It's a shame your son is no longer with you, but don't worry, I'll help you finish what you started, Catherine, I will assist in ending your son's life." I laughed out loud as I walked out the door, jumping out the window. It was a liberating feeling, as if I was shedding my skin and leaving my troubles behind. "What's going on?" he asked, confusion etched on his face. I let out a laugh and looked up at him. "Nothing, just having a good time." I moved closer to him, and his scent - a mixture of sandalwood and musk - hit me. My lips brushed against his ear, and I whispered. "Don't worry, your wife is still here." He looked stunned, and I walked away, back towards the river. The sound of my footsteps on the gravel echoed in my ears as I reached the water. I gazed at my reflection in the water, taking in the sight of my tousled hair and smudged eyeliner. I couldn't help but smile as I placed my hands on my cheeks. As I sat there, I noticed a presence behind me. I stood up and turned around to see Lux standing there. His eyes searched mine, and he spoke. "What do you mean by that?" Lora pov. I sat there, watching as Phillips stood up and placed his hands on the back of his head. I observed him closely, taking in his appearance once again. He was tall, with broad shoulders and a chiseled jawline. He had short brown hair that was slightly disheveled and piercing blue eyes that seemed to sparkle in the light. As he stood up, he let out a groan of pain, causing me to furrow my brow in concern. He looked at me, and our eyes met. "What happened?" he asked, his voice laced with confusion. I moved closer to him, examining his head for any signs of injury. I placed my hand on his scalp and felt a small bump, but it seemed to be only a minor cut. "You fell and hit your head," I told him softly. He looked around, trying to orient himself. "How about you? Are you all right?" he asked, his eyes searching mine. I nodded and smiled, trying to reassure him that everything was okay. But inside, I was seething with anger. I knew what I had to do, even if it meant hurting t

The scent of damp earth and pine needles fill the air as I place the child down, preparing it for the sacrifice. I feel his presence around me, knowing he's come to complete the ritual.
