Catherine pov.

With a sinister smile, I watched as Mora's expression turned from fear to shock as she realized I was still alive. I wanted her to know that this time, I wouldn't be so easy to defeat.

"It's not true, Catherine is dead; I killed her," she yelled, her words punctuated by a sudden intake of breath.

"You murdered me, and I thought you were my best friend." I said, my voice low and cold.

As I spoke, I took in the scene around me. The air was thick with the smell of freshly cut grass, and the sound of rustling leaves filled my ears. I could feel the rough ground beneath me as I fell to the ground, my hands clutching my head in pain.

When I looked up, I saw Max holding a stick, and I felt a surge of anger wash over me. "Why?" I asked Mora, my eyes fixed on hers.
