2024-10-29 19:42:56Elder Eli walked into the pack house with the rest of the elders. Maya, Grey, and Zing were seated over a breakfast of marinated roasted chicken, carrots, peas, mashed potatoes and gravy.
Zing had engaged them in conversations, but was stopped abruptly by the entrance of the elders. "Good morning, alpha," they greeted.
"Good morning, elders," Grey, Zing and Maya responded.
"To what do I owe this early morning visit?" Grey asked, his elbows propped up on the desk, and his fingers clasped together.
"The Luna has a test to carryout," elder Eli announced, and Grey stared at him, and Maya's fingers froze on the fork laying idly on the plate.
