The Punishment

I hurriedly headed to the kitchen with my limp right leg. Mabel has put a bandage on the sole of my foot, so it should be fine while my wolf recovers. Lately, my physical and energy have become weak.

I've lost almost half of my strength just because I had a miscarriage. My uncontrolled emotions also affected my wolf.

I accidentally fell down the stairs, stepped on nails that happened to be scattered on the floor, and accidentally hit Mattia's bedside table.

That wasn't a bad thing, but the worst-case scenario was that I broke the snow globe display that was on Mattia's nightstand. Really, I accidentally knocked on the snowball, so it broke and scattered on the floor.

"What the hell, she's not in her room! Where is she?" suddenly, I heard Mattia's voice from the hallway outside. Even though he was far away, I could already smell his scent.

Mattia's scent began to change when I realized he was my mate. Even before, I always felt like vomiting every time I smelled Mattia's scent.
