In her vision, she saw the sky unfold before her. It was red like blood and creatures that she knew not flew in her direction, flying right over her head. The wind was harsh and the sun was cold and gray, almost like the moon. Noise filled the air. Some were people wailing and crying loudly as if they were being tortured, and the other noises sounded like laughter. Clary was so afraid that she felt like she was losing her breath. She could sense a very dark presence all around her. It was like someone or something was watching her but she could not see it. When she looked in her hand, she saw an aged note. The writings on it were carelessly written and were in black ink. She drew the note closer to examine the writings, trying to decipher it. It was not English, she knew that from her first glance at the note, but whatever language it was, she somehow could understand it. The note read: The Beginning Of The End Is Nigh. Then it vanished, the note turned to dust and the wind blew
Deep breaths filled the room as Clary and Levi lay on the bed in one of the rooms in the cabin. They had just made love together for the first time and Clary felt completely satisfied. She was lying next to him under the bedsheets and she could not help but stare at Levi’s ocean-blue eyes. “Are you okay?” He asked her. She chuckled lightly in response and nodded. “Yeah, I’m good. I’m just a bit hungry, that’s all,” She managed to say. She proceeded to wake up from the bed, adjusting herself into a sitting position. “Where are you going?” Clary chuckled and glanced at him before looking for her clothes which must have been scattered everywhere. Good thing, she saw her underwear not too far from the bed. “You do know that we have to leave, right? This cabin is not our hotel,” She joked. Levi finally shifted from his laying position on the bed ad sat up. “Yeah, but nothing’s stopping us from staying a while longer.” Clary clicked her tongue. “No, I’d rather leave.” She did n
Clary breathed out a sigh and ran her hand through her hair. “Yeah, I think I told you that, right?” Lola nodded. “Yeah, you did, but I forgot,” She said smoothly and then headed towards the living room, gesturing for Clary to follow her. Clary did not want to, she just wanted to go to her room and try to sleep but she did not want to make Lola upset, especially now that she was finally being nice. “Yeah,” She said in a small voice. They finally reached the living room and Clary allowed Lola to sit down first before sitting on the couch opposite her. The reason why Clary was a bit taken aback or worried when Lola mentioned her being pregnant was that she instinctively felt like Lola knew about the abortion and was referring to the other baby. But it was now clear in Clary’s mind and her troubled nerves were calm now. When Clary sat on the couch, she began, “Uh…I’m not carrying the child again.” Confusion plastered Lola’s face and she asked, “What do you mean?” “I, um, lost the
The smell of food lingered in the air and the softness of the voice of the waiter was calming. “Your mom?” Clary cleared her throat and adjusted herself in the chair before replying, “Her name is Sarah Astoria, I believe she works here as a waiter?” She glanced around once more and added, “ I don’t see her here today, is she okay?” The waiter swallowed and a sense of sadness filled his heart. “I think you should talk to our manager,” He told her. Clary furrowed her eyebrows and she started to get nervous. Why did she need to talk to the manager? “Why? Is everything alright?” “I knew that there was something about you but I could not put my hand on it. You look just like her,” The waiter said, and he smiled sadly. “Of course, you’re Sarah’s daughter.” “Okay, but why do I need to talk with the manager? Is my mom alright?” “What’s your name, dear?” Clary gulped and replied, “Clary.” “Okay, Clary, I don’t want to worry you but if this is concerning Sarah who happens to be your mom
Clary was panicking. Sweat dripped from her forehead and her heart pounded in her chest. It was when she saw her mom’s eyes flutter close that she quickly stood to her feet and ran outside, with the intent of getting help. Clary ran as fast as she could and when she got outside and her eyes landed on the driver, she cried, “Please, help me, please! She’s dying!” The driver was confused and taken aback but he acted on instinct and ran to the omega’s aid. He followed her into the house and the first thing he noticed was the smell of smoke lingering in the air. He ignored it and followed Clary up the stairs and into a room. That was when he saw what all the commotion was about. He saw a lady on the floor, she looked like she was close to death. Her skin looked purple and her eyes were closed. “Please, help her,” Clary cried, her voice breaking. She watched the driver lift her mom onto his shoulders and then followed him out of the room. “Is she going to be okay?” She asked him even t
Clary felt a warm feeling filled her chest, she liked that Levi was standing up for her but the fact remained that she was an introvert and it made her feel a bit embarrassed that the Alpha was talking to the doctor in that tone. “Uh, of course, sir,” Doctor Josiah replied, his voice shaking a bit at the end. “I’m sorry if I seemed rude, I apologize, sir.” Levi nodded firmly and then after a few seconds, he sighed. “Look,” He began, holding his hips. “I did not mean to raise my voice, it’s just that a hospital with this reputation should not be transferring patients.” Doctor Josiah nodded in agreement. “You’re absolutely right.” And he knew that this was true but he was more concerned about the stellar reputation of his hospital. “But it’s complicated.” The hospital was one of the best and one of the reasons was that no one that had been there had ever died or not gotten well. This was the flex that this hospital had. And Doctor Josiah knew that the case with Clary’s mom was a
Clary could not help but laugh freely when she heard what Levi had just said. She hated that he was being so nice because, with each kind gesture, she was falling even harder for him. “In the dark? We won’t be able to see,” She told him, giggling slightly. “Oh, really?” He asked in a soft voice as he got closer to her. Werewolves had great eyesight but the Alpha’s sight was even better and impressive. He knew that Clary could see him clearly, even if it was not as clear as he could see her. Clary’s heart thumped in her chest. She did not particularly trust the idea of being in a dimly lit room with Levi. She knew very well that her emotions could not be trusted. “Okay, I may be able to see a bit, but still…” “Come on, Clary, don’t be a downer. Dance with me,” Levi said when he had closed the distance between him and the omega. He reached for her hips and gently placed his hands on them, swaying to the slow beat of the song playing in the room. Clary’s face continue to get heated a
Clary took a few seconds to chew mentally on the information that she had just been told. Did she hear Ace wrong? She needs to make sure. “Selena’s brother? I don’t understand.” Ace breathed out a sigh. “Yes, Selena’s brother. His name is Star. Not a lot of people know about him because he was exiled from the pack at the age of twenty-two.” Clary decided to sit down. “Why was he exiled and why do you think that he’s the great evil that is coming for our pack?” “Star was different. He was very much different from everyone, even when he was born. Unlike normal babies, he did not cry when he was born. And the doctors said that nothing was wrong with him.” “Okay?” Clary encouraged Ace to continue. She was still trying to piece together how Selena’s brother was a great evil. “His parents hid a lot of things, including the fact that he killed his best friend when he was fourteen years old. He had drowned her in the bathtub.” Clary gasped, her mind painting her picture when Ace explain
*This should be a free chapter. Do not unlock the previous one, please!* Hey there, First of all, I want to say thank you to all who read this book. I am so very grateful for the time, gems, comments, reviews, and as well financial support. I enjoyed writing this book. Yeah, I had to juggle my social life, school, and taking care of myself and my nephews in a foreign country but nevertheless, it was a beautiful and emotional ride. Some may not be satisfied with how the storyline flowed, but most of you loved the book, and that makes me happy! There might be a possibility for book two. But that’s a “Might”. But for now, it’s a farewell from Alpha Ace and Luna Clary! Please, please, please write reviews and vote gems for the book if you’d like, it helps the book get more exposure and I would really appreciate it. Thanks. Big love to you all! But Jesus loves you more! :)

It was a year later and Clary was getting ready for the Moon Festival. It was at night and she was in the makeup room and had so many people attending to her. She was almost ready and her makeup was even done. She was only in that room because she was getting touched up once again per the head makeup artist’s suggestion. The lady’s name was Selena and although the name reminded Clary of the former Luna, it was a totally different person. Music played in the room and a huge vanity mirror reflected Clary’s face back to her. She looked amazing and could not imagine that she had come this far. She had gone from being an omega to being the Luna of the pack. It was a dream come through for her, no, in fact, it was beyond her dreams. Because all she had wished for since she was little was just to be happy; to find a mate, live a normal life and be happy. The door of the room opened and Ace walked in. When he glanced at Clary, his heart skipped a beat. He could not believe that he was no
The sound of the medical machine beeping echoed like it had been placed underwater. Clary’s eyes fluttered open and her vision was at first blurry before she blinked and it got cleared up.The air smelled perfumed and the sound of the medical machine beeping was now more evident. The omega’s throat was parched and she tried to swallow but it was very uncomfortable. That made her cough a bit. That was when she noticed that she was not alone in what she guessed to be a hospital room, even though it looked a bit fancy. Who she saw caused her heart to drop. “Dad?” She tried to speak but her voice came out a hoarse cry. It was the preacher, the guy was sitting not far from her in a chair by the bed. The preacher almost choked on the juice that he was drinking. It was what one of the nurses had given him because he had been in the room for almost the whole day without eating; only leaving for the bathroom and water breaks. He coughed for a few seconds before clearing his throat. He sta
Upon impact with Selena, Clary’s wolf was sent flying in the other direction. Her back hit the living room table, smashing it into many pieces. There were a few shards that poked into her back. And it hurt like crazy. “Stand up and fight, omega! Or should I say, Luna?” Selena mocked Clary as she approached her. Clary quickly rose to her feet but was pinned back to the floor of sharp shards just as quickly by the former Luna. She tried to get free from the demon’s strong hold over her but it was way too hard. “You’re hurting me,” Clary pushed the words out as she fought against the strength of Selena. “That’s the point,” The former Luna laughed out the words. She held Clary’s wolf down with just one hand and was now using the other one to try to stab it in the chest of the omega, aiming for her heart. Clary was so scared, not just for her but for her baby. “Surrender,” She heard her wolf say to her, and confusion filled her. Surrender? That would mean absolute death! That did not
It must have been three in the morning. The rain had finally stopped, not even a single drop falling anymore. The cabin had the smell of death lingering and the atmosphere was tense. Star was devastated. He felt depressed that his wolf and demon had been taken away from him by the Moon goddess. Yeah, he may have deserved it, but he would have preferred death over being made a human. You see, this was common in the pack, and maybe in other packs too. Every werewolf feared their wolf being taken away from them. They saw it as the highest form of punishment. If most of them had to choose between death and having their wolves taken away from them, death was going to be the popular option. Having one’s wolf taken away meant shame, demotion, and disgrace, and was just almost every werewolf’s worse nightmare. The hybrid stood not too far from Clary and barely paid attention to what was going on. He was still in disbelief that this had happened. Selena shifted back into her human
Clary was still on the floor, unable to get up. The powerful presence of the goddess was now made evident and it filled the room. But she could hear everything that the goddess was saying, including what she had just said about Selena's baby being alive. Clary chuckled in disbelief. “That’s impossible. Her baby died. And okay, let’s just say the baby’s alive, that still would not make my child the first heir,” She managed to say. The heaviness of the Moon goddess’s presence was now dwindling down but the omega knew that it was something that the goddess was doing on purpose. The goddess stopped pacing and looked at Clary on the floor. Her smile dropped a bit. “I told you to stand up, Luna Clary.” Clary made a small sound with her throat. “I know, but it’s not that easy when I can feel the literal essence of your being filling the room,” She confessed. The goddess's smile lifted up and then she let out a small breath, causing the heaviness to flee from the room in seconds. “Okay,
Levi’s wolf fell to the floor with a thud and he instantly shifted back into his human form. The light of life had fled from his eyes and death had stolen him away. But from the second that Selena had stabbed her hand into his back, he knew that he was going to die and at that very moment, he still did not regret a thing. Even if he had been given a second chance, he was for sure going to do it all again. He may have died, but his love for Clary was going to live on and on. “No,” Clary said the word out in disbelief as tears filled her eyes, blinding her vision for a few seconds before she blinked and it cleared when the tears had fallen on her face. “No, no, no,” Her voice broke. She shifted back into her human form and rushed to Levi’s side, watching the blood gushing out of his chest. “Yuck,” Selena said as she chuckled, staring at the heart in her hand. She then dropped it to the floor and licked the blood that was on her hand. “Please…please, let this be a dream,” Clary beg
Levi was furious, he wanted to just jump out of where he was hiding and attack the hybrid but he knew that it was not such a wise thing to do. So he did some breathing exercises. When he realized the breathing exercises were not really helping, he started punching the steering wheel really hard until pain shot through his fists; that was when he finally stopped. He then carefully got out of the car and hid in the bushes, making sure that he was out of sight so Star could not see him.“What the hell? You did not have to do that!” Clary exclaimed mentally, referring to what the hybrid had done to the driver. “He was the one that literally helped us to get here.” “Yeah, but he was also being overdramatic, he could have blown our cover and gotten us made by my sister.” Clary knew that the hybrid was right but she still felt bad for what he had done to the driver. “Anyone would have been overdramatic if they had seen a half-demon that has destroyed many packs.” “Okay, okay. I’m sorry.
