Hi there, First of all, I want to say thank you to all the readers for being along on this journey with Clary. I love this book and the characters feel so real to me, they really matter to me. I am an international student that has to juggle school, social life, and taking care of my three nephews; so if I don't post for a day or two, I hope there is some compassion and understanding. As for the length of the book, I saw that someone complained that it was too long. Have you seen other books on this app? I have a set plan and plot for this novel and will not rush it. I will make sure to exhaust the plot for the book before I have it marked as completed. So instead of complaining, if you don't want to read it because of its length, you simply leave. That'd be perfectly fine. Because it's your time and money involved so the choice is yours. But leaving me low-star reviews instead of suggesting things you would like to see improvements in the book would just make me post less. Co
Clary sat there for a few seconds, not even saying a word. She was so disgusted by the detective that anger filled her up, but she decided not to act on her emotions. She knew that acting on them would only make things worse. “Ma’am, with all due respect, go to hell,” Clary said the words in a monotone. “The fact that you even have the guts to suggest that tells me exactly that you’re in cahoots with Selena. And it sickens me that you would be willing to lay down your integrity for yourself and job for her.” The detective felt a pang of hurt when she heard what Clary had said. She knew that the omega was right, that she was bribed by Selena. But it was not only about the money, the detective was also promised a big promotion if she got Clary’s baby aborted. She cleared her throat, collected the photograph from Clary, and placed it back into her folder. She then stood to her feet, locked eyes with the omega, and said, “This is your last and only chance.” “I’d rather rot in p
Clary was still in the vision. Yes, she was nervous, but that was only because she did not really know what exactly she was getting herself into when she agreed to join Star in his plan for revenge on the pack. “How are we going to prove to everyone that Selena was the one that killed the guard?” Star smiled lopsidedly and replied, “There is a hidden camera in your room. In fact, there are hidden cameras in all the rooms in the royal mansion but the footage is sealed. The purpose for the hidden cameras is so that if anything happened there that called for an investigation, their footage would be used.” It was Clary’s first time learning of this. “How do you know this?” She asked, hopeful that there would be a way to clear her and her mom’s name. “I have my sources,” Star chuckled the words out softly. “We’re going to use the footage from your room to prove that you’re innocent. And you know what you’re going to do? When you’re free, you’re going to finally tell Ace about what Mr
Clary had been allowed to change out of the jumpsuit and she was now wearing some casual clothes that a female guard had given her. The clothes felt comfortable and were clean. They smelled new. She was sitting in a room that looked like a sitting area. It was a lovely space, the couches were comfy and the entire floor was covered in a fur-like rug. Since the omega had told the detective about the hidden camera in the room, and Selena was really the one who had killed the royal guard, she could not help but overthink. Clary was a bit worried. What if Star was lying to her? What if the hybrid was just playing a sick game on her? Either way, she was going to find out pretty soon. She stared at the door, anticipating it opening in any second but it took longer. It took another hour before the door finally was opened by somebody. Clary jolted from her comfortable position on one of the couches, training her attention on the person who had entered the room. It was the detective. Dete
Clary could not believe what she was seeing. She watched the scene while standing still, trying to make sure that this was actually happening. As soon as Selena’s eyes fell on Clary, her cheeks reddened from embarrassment and her chest burned. Tears filled her eyes and she glanced at the detective. “I’m innocent, this is not okay,” She said, her voice breaking. “Well, from the evidence we have, I strongly believe that you’re not,” Detective Perez said in a disappointed tone. “And you had the guts to blame someone innocent for the crime.” “Don’t you all just stand there, do something!” Selena exclaimed at the maids that were watching the scene. “Get Ace or Mr. Clark!”“You don’t have to worry about that, we going to meet them right now, along with the council” members,” Detective Perez said in response, giving a small nod at Clary when her eyes landed on the omega. Selena decided to keep quiet. The first reason was that everything happening was already embarrassing enough and she
The book would be ending by the 14th of this month, or sooner. Let me know your thoughts on this. I will make sure to try not to rush the ending. I was also thinking about writing bonus chapters when the book gets completed but that depends on what you guys would want. I know I have been posting short-length chapters recently so please bear with me too. I will try to double up on the length of the chapters before the end of the book, which would be by Friday. I really appreciate every reader; all the love and even the critique. I am grateful. Anyway, have a good weekend! :)
Selena smiled sadistically before replying to the council member. “Yes, I am guilty of what I have been accused of.” She knew that there was no use in trying to lie or pretend like she did not do what she had said that she had done. More gasps and mumblings could be heard across the room. Everyone was in shock. “Do you know the severity of the crime that you are admitting to committing?” The councilmember asked. Again, Selena knew that there was no way that she was going to wiggle out of her predicament. All she could do was accept her fate but take down as many people as she could if she was going to go down. “Yes, I know. Yet I am still confessing to the crime of killing a royal guard so I could land Clary in prison,” She explained. Ace stood to his feet and he could feel anger building up in him. He wanted to walk in the direction of his wife but was stopped by Levi. “Let go of me,” He said in between his teeth. “I’m not going to let you do whatever that’s going through your
The noise of the medical machine beeping sounded in the distance as Selena opened her eyes. Her vision was blurred for a few seconds before becoming clear. She was staring at the ceiling and the beeping that had sounded so far away was right in the same room she was. She tried to swallow but her throat was very dry and her stomach hurt a lot when she made any movement. Selena instinctively reached for her belly but her breath hitched when she did not feel her baby bump. Memories immediately flooded her mind and she could now remember everything that had happened in the last few hours. “No,” She let out the word in a breathy and shaky way. Her heart thundered in her chest and although her abdomen hurt when she made any movement, she still pushed against the pain and sat up on the bed. She could see that she was in a hospital room. She was alone and the air smelled like medicine. When she tried to move her left hand, she noticed that it was handcuffed to the bed. Tears fell from he
*This should be a free chapter. Do not unlock the previous one, please!* Hey there, First of all, I want to say thank you to all who read this book. I am so very grateful for the time, gems, comments, reviews, and as well financial support. I enjoyed writing this book. Yeah, I had to juggle my social life, school, and taking care of myself and my nephews in a foreign country but nevertheless, it was a beautiful and emotional ride. Some may not be satisfied with how the storyline flowed, but most of you loved the book, and that makes me happy! There might be a possibility for book two. But that’s a “Might”. But for now, it’s a farewell from Alpha Ace and Luna Clary! Please, please, please write reviews and vote gems for the book if you’d like, it helps the book get more exposure and I would really appreciate it. Thanks. Big love to you all! But Jesus loves you more! :)

It was a year later and Clary was getting ready for the Moon Festival. It was at night and she was in the makeup room and had so many people attending to her. She was almost ready and her makeup was even done. She was only in that room because she was getting touched up once again per the head makeup artist’s suggestion. The lady’s name was Selena and although the name reminded Clary of the former Luna, it was a totally different person. Music played in the room and a huge vanity mirror reflected Clary’s face back to her. She looked amazing and could not imagine that she had come this far. She had gone from being an omega to being the Luna of the pack. It was a dream come through for her, no, in fact, it was beyond her dreams. Because all she had wished for since she was little was just to be happy; to find a mate, live a normal life and be happy. The door of the room opened and Ace walked in. When he glanced at Clary, his heart skipped a beat. He could not believe that he was no
The sound of the medical machine beeping echoed like it had been placed underwater. Clary’s eyes fluttered open and her vision was at first blurry before she blinked and it got cleared up.The air smelled perfumed and the sound of the medical machine beeping was now more evident. The omega’s throat was parched and she tried to swallow but it was very uncomfortable. That made her cough a bit. That was when she noticed that she was not alone in what she guessed to be a hospital room, even though it looked a bit fancy. Who she saw caused her heart to drop. “Dad?” She tried to speak but her voice came out a hoarse cry. It was the preacher, the guy was sitting not far from her in a chair by the bed. The preacher almost choked on the juice that he was drinking. It was what one of the nurses had given him because he had been in the room for almost the whole day without eating; only leaving for the bathroom and water breaks. He coughed for a few seconds before clearing his throat. He sta
Upon impact with Selena, Clary’s wolf was sent flying in the other direction. Her back hit the living room table, smashing it into many pieces. There were a few shards that poked into her back. And it hurt like crazy. “Stand up and fight, omega! Or should I say, Luna?” Selena mocked Clary as she approached her. Clary quickly rose to her feet but was pinned back to the floor of sharp shards just as quickly by the former Luna. She tried to get free from the demon’s strong hold over her but it was way too hard. “You’re hurting me,” Clary pushed the words out as she fought against the strength of Selena. “That’s the point,” The former Luna laughed out the words. She held Clary’s wolf down with just one hand and was now using the other one to try to stab it in the chest of the omega, aiming for her heart. Clary was so scared, not just for her but for her baby. “Surrender,” She heard her wolf say to her, and confusion filled her. Surrender? That would mean absolute death! That did not
It must have been three in the morning. The rain had finally stopped, not even a single drop falling anymore. The cabin had the smell of death lingering and the atmosphere was tense. Star was devastated. He felt depressed that his wolf and demon had been taken away from him by the Moon goddess. Yeah, he may have deserved it, but he would have preferred death over being made a human. You see, this was common in the pack, and maybe in other packs too. Every werewolf feared their wolf being taken away from them. They saw it as the highest form of punishment. If most of them had to choose between death and having their wolves taken away from them, death was going to be the popular option. Having one’s wolf taken away meant shame, demotion, and disgrace, and was just almost every werewolf’s worse nightmare. The hybrid stood not too far from Clary and barely paid attention to what was going on. He was still in disbelief that this had happened. Selena shifted back into her human
Clary was still on the floor, unable to get up. The powerful presence of the goddess was now made evident and it filled the room. But she could hear everything that the goddess was saying, including what she had just said about Selena's baby being alive. Clary chuckled in disbelief. “That’s impossible. Her baby died. And okay, let’s just say the baby’s alive, that still would not make my child the first heir,” She managed to say. The heaviness of the Moon goddess’s presence was now dwindling down but the omega knew that it was something that the goddess was doing on purpose. The goddess stopped pacing and looked at Clary on the floor. Her smile dropped a bit. “I told you to stand up, Luna Clary.” Clary made a small sound with her throat. “I know, but it’s not that easy when I can feel the literal essence of your being filling the room,” She confessed. The goddess's smile lifted up and then she let out a small breath, causing the heaviness to flee from the room in seconds. “Okay,
Levi’s wolf fell to the floor with a thud and he instantly shifted back into his human form. The light of life had fled from his eyes and death had stolen him away. But from the second that Selena had stabbed her hand into his back, he knew that he was going to die and at that very moment, he still did not regret a thing. Even if he had been given a second chance, he was for sure going to do it all again. He may have died, but his love for Clary was going to live on and on. “No,” Clary said the word out in disbelief as tears filled her eyes, blinding her vision for a few seconds before she blinked and it cleared when the tears had fallen on her face. “No, no, no,” Her voice broke. She shifted back into her human form and rushed to Levi’s side, watching the blood gushing out of his chest. “Yuck,” Selena said as she chuckled, staring at the heart in her hand. She then dropped it to the floor and licked the blood that was on her hand. “Please…please, let this be a dream,” Clary beg
Levi was furious, he wanted to just jump out of where he was hiding and attack the hybrid but he knew that it was not such a wise thing to do. So he did some breathing exercises. When he realized the breathing exercises were not really helping, he started punching the steering wheel really hard until pain shot through his fists; that was when he finally stopped. He then carefully got out of the car and hid in the bushes, making sure that he was out of sight so Star could not see him.“What the hell? You did not have to do that!” Clary exclaimed mentally, referring to what the hybrid had done to the driver. “He was the one that literally helped us to get here.” “Yeah, but he was also being overdramatic, he could have blown our cover and gotten us made by my sister.” Clary knew that the hybrid was right but she still felt bad for what he had done to the driver. “Anyone would have been overdramatic if they had seen a half-demon that has destroyed many packs.” “Okay, okay. I’m sorry.
