The book would be ending by the 14th of this month, or sooner. Let me know your thoughts on this. I will make sure to try not to rush the ending. I was also thinking about writing bonus chapters when the book gets completed but that depends on what you guys would want. I know I have been posting short-length chapters recently so please bear with me too. I will try to double up on the length of the chapters before the end of the book, which would be by Friday. I really appreciate every reader; all the love and even the critique. I am grateful. Anyway, have a good weekend! :)
Selena smiled sadistically before replying to the council member. “Yes, I am guilty of what I have been accused of.” She knew that there was no use in trying to lie or pretend like she did not do what she had said that she had done. More gasps and mumblings could be heard across the room. Everyone was in shock. “Do you know the severity of the crime that you are admitting to committing?” The councilmember asked. Again, Selena knew that there was no way that she was going to wiggle out of her predicament. All she could do was accept her fate but take down as many people as she could if she was going to go down. “Yes, I know. Yet I am still confessing to the crime of killing a royal guard so I could land Clary in prison,” She explained. Ace stood to his feet and he could feel anger building up in him. He wanted to walk in the direction of his wife but was stopped by Levi. “Let go of me,” He said in between his teeth. “I’m not going to let you do whatever that’s going through your
The noise of the medical machine beeping sounded in the distance as Selena opened her eyes. Her vision was blurred for a few seconds before becoming clear. She was staring at the ceiling and the beeping that had sounded so far away was right in the same room she was. She tried to swallow but her throat was very dry and her stomach hurt a lot when she made any movement. Selena instinctively reached for her belly but her breath hitched when she did not feel her baby bump. Memories immediately flooded her mind and she could now remember everything that had happened in the last few hours. “No,” She let out the word in a breathy and shaky way. Her heart thundered in her chest and although her abdomen hurt when she made any movement, she still pushed against the pain and sat up on the bed. She could see that she was in a hospital room. She was alone and the air smelled like medicine. When she tried to move her left hand, she noticed that it was handcuffed to the bed. Tears fell from he
Selena was in a lot of pain yet she kept trying to get herself loose from the handcuffs. She had been trying for the past fifteen minutes and found no luck. It irked her that she was stuck in the room and could not do anything about her baby. “At least let me see him,” She cried to herself. “Let me see my child.” Her voice was shaky and hoarse as more tears flowed down her eyes. But this time, her eyes were getting weary of producing the fluid so fewer tears were produced. After ten more minutes, she finally gave up. She lay down in bed and stared at the ceiling and just waited to hear what was going to be the fate of her newborn baby. The door made a sound as it opened and the detective walked in. When her eyes fell on Selena, she felt sad for the former Luna. Detective Perez could see the bag and dark circles under Selena’s eyes. She could see how drained the former Luna was and it somehow saddened her. “Hi…how are you?” She walked towards the bed and sat in the seat not too
Drip drop, drip drop, drip drop. It was the next day. The clouds had darkened and the sun was nowhere to be found. The air was cold and the light rumbling of thunder roared from above. The smell of dust scented the air. The rain had just begun and it was noon. Clary was sitting next to Ace in his room and was trying to comfort him. They had been alone in the room for half an hour already. The reason she was there was because she had seen how the Alpha had gotten affected by the news about his dead baby. She saw that it shook him to the bone; it broke him down. And she knew the feeling, she knew very well how it was like to lose a baby and she would not wish it on her deadliest of enemies; not even on Selena. Yeah, Clary knew that Ace was pissed at Selena but it was also clear that he was very sad that they had lost their baby. “You know, it’s okay to be sad about it,” Clary said to him calmly as she stared at his bloodshot eyes. Ace chuckled faintly. “Who says I’m sad?” Even his
In that split second, there was serenity. There was a peace that made no sense. It was like the calm before the storm. Everything and everyone stood still. Then it fell. The storm finally fell. Selena rushed towards Clary with malice in her heart but the omega expertly got out of the way. The former Luna ended up hitting the wall very hard. But she quickly got her composure back, preparing for another attack. Then her eyes landed on who she was up against. Clary, Levi, Lola, Ace, and Aiden had already shifted into their wolves, ready for battle.Even in her demon form, she knew that she could not take on all of them at the same time. It would be suicide. So she did what was the only logical thing to do, she ran. “Don’t let her get away!” Levi exclaimed as he chased her in his wolf form, but she was way too fast for him. Selena rushed into one of the hospital rooms and quickly glanced around for a way to escape. But the only exit there was the windows. And note that they were on t
It was an hour past midnight and the rain had finally decided to let up. The heavy downpour was getting lighter each minute and Clary took that to her advantage. She unlocked her door and walked out of her room, heading for the front door so she could find a way to leave. She half-expected someone like Ace or her mom to be out but everyone was asleep. The only people that were awake in the royal mansion were the staff and royal guards. But Clary was sure that everyone else was in their bedrooms. It had been a very busy and tense day so she was not surprised. When she reached the living room, she passed by a couple of maids but just flashed them small smiles so she didn't look too suspicious. She proceeded to head to the front door, opening it and stepping out smoothly. She had a couple of goals for the night but the first one on her list was getting at Selena’s cabin. When she was out of the mansion, she closed the door easily and headed where most of the cars were parked. By Lev
Levi was furious, he wanted to just jump out of where he was hiding and attack the hybrid but he knew that it was not such a wise thing to do. So he did some breathing exercises. When he realized the breathing exercises were not really helping, he started punching the steering wheel really hard until pain shot through his fists; that was when he finally stopped. He then carefully got out of the car and hid in the bushes, making sure that he was out of sight so Star could not see him.“What the hell? You did not have to do that!” Clary exclaimed mentally, referring to what the hybrid had done to the driver. “He was the one that literally helped us to get here.” “Yeah, but he was also being overdramatic, he could have blown our cover and gotten us made by my sister.” Clary knew that the hybrid was right but she still felt bad for what he had done to the driver. “Anyone would have been overdramatic if they had seen a half-demon that has destroyed many packs.” “Okay, okay. I’m sorry.
*This should be a free chapter. Do not unlock the previous one, please!* Hey there, First of all, I want to say thank you to all who read this book. I am so very grateful for the time, gems, comments, reviews, and as well financial support. I enjoyed writing this book. Yeah, I had to juggle my social life, school, and taking care of myself and my nephews in a foreign country but nevertheless, it was a beautiful and emotional ride. Some may not be satisfied with how the storyline flowed, but most of you loved the book, and that makes me happy! There might be a possibility for book two. But that’s a “Might”. But for now, it’s a farewell from Alpha Ace and Luna Clary! Please, please, please write reviews and vote gems for the book if you’d like, it helps the book get more exposure and I would really appreciate it. Thanks. Big love to you all! But Jesus loves you more! :)

It was a year later and Clary was getting ready for the Moon Festival. It was at night and she was in the makeup room and had so many people attending to her. She was almost ready and her makeup was even done. She was only in that room because she was getting touched up once again per the head makeup artist’s suggestion. The lady’s name was Selena and although the name reminded Clary of the former Luna, it was a totally different person. Music played in the room and a huge vanity mirror reflected Clary’s face back to her. She looked amazing and could not imagine that she had come this far. She had gone from being an omega to being the Luna of the pack. It was a dream come through for her, no, in fact, it was beyond her dreams. Because all she had wished for since she was little was just to be happy; to find a mate, live a normal life and be happy. The door of the room opened and Ace walked in. When he glanced at Clary, his heart skipped a beat. He could not believe that he was no
The sound of the medical machine beeping echoed like it had been placed underwater. Clary’s eyes fluttered open and her vision was at first blurry before she blinked and it got cleared up.The air smelled perfumed and the sound of the medical machine beeping was now more evident. The omega’s throat was parched and she tried to swallow but it was very uncomfortable. That made her cough a bit. That was when she noticed that she was not alone in what she guessed to be a hospital room, even though it looked a bit fancy. Who she saw caused her heart to drop. “Dad?” She tried to speak but her voice came out a hoarse cry. It was the preacher, the guy was sitting not far from her in a chair by the bed. The preacher almost choked on the juice that he was drinking. It was what one of the nurses had given him because he had been in the room for almost the whole day without eating; only leaving for the bathroom and water breaks. He coughed for a few seconds before clearing his throat. He sta
Upon impact with Selena, Clary’s wolf was sent flying in the other direction. Her back hit the living room table, smashing it into many pieces. There were a few shards that poked into her back. And it hurt like crazy. “Stand up and fight, omega! Or should I say, Luna?” Selena mocked Clary as she approached her. Clary quickly rose to her feet but was pinned back to the floor of sharp shards just as quickly by the former Luna. She tried to get free from the demon’s strong hold over her but it was way too hard. “You’re hurting me,” Clary pushed the words out as she fought against the strength of Selena. “That’s the point,” The former Luna laughed out the words. She held Clary’s wolf down with just one hand and was now using the other one to try to stab it in the chest of the omega, aiming for her heart. Clary was so scared, not just for her but for her baby. “Surrender,” She heard her wolf say to her, and confusion filled her. Surrender? That would mean absolute death! That did not
It must have been three in the morning. The rain had finally stopped, not even a single drop falling anymore. The cabin had the smell of death lingering and the atmosphere was tense. Star was devastated. He felt depressed that his wolf and demon had been taken away from him by the Moon goddess. Yeah, he may have deserved it, but he would have preferred death over being made a human. You see, this was common in the pack, and maybe in other packs too. Every werewolf feared their wolf being taken away from them. They saw it as the highest form of punishment. If most of them had to choose between death and having their wolves taken away from them, death was going to be the popular option. Having one’s wolf taken away meant shame, demotion, and disgrace, and was just almost every werewolf’s worse nightmare. The hybrid stood not too far from Clary and barely paid attention to what was going on. He was still in disbelief that this had happened. Selena shifted back into her human
Clary was still on the floor, unable to get up. The powerful presence of the goddess was now made evident and it filled the room. But she could hear everything that the goddess was saying, including what she had just said about Selena's baby being alive. Clary chuckled in disbelief. “That’s impossible. Her baby died. And okay, let’s just say the baby’s alive, that still would not make my child the first heir,” She managed to say. The heaviness of the Moon goddess’s presence was now dwindling down but the omega knew that it was something that the goddess was doing on purpose. The goddess stopped pacing and looked at Clary on the floor. Her smile dropped a bit. “I told you to stand up, Luna Clary.” Clary made a small sound with her throat. “I know, but it’s not that easy when I can feel the literal essence of your being filling the room,” She confessed. The goddess's smile lifted up and then she let out a small breath, causing the heaviness to flee from the room in seconds. “Okay,
Levi’s wolf fell to the floor with a thud and he instantly shifted back into his human form. The light of life had fled from his eyes and death had stolen him away. But from the second that Selena had stabbed her hand into his back, he knew that he was going to die and at that very moment, he still did not regret a thing. Even if he had been given a second chance, he was for sure going to do it all again. He may have died, but his love for Clary was going to live on and on. “No,” Clary said the word out in disbelief as tears filled her eyes, blinding her vision for a few seconds before she blinked and it cleared when the tears had fallen on her face. “No, no, no,” Her voice broke. She shifted back into her human form and rushed to Levi’s side, watching the blood gushing out of his chest. “Yuck,” Selena said as she chuckled, staring at the heart in her hand. She then dropped it to the floor and licked the blood that was on her hand. “Please…please, let this be a dream,” Clary beg
